This card is amazing for my Nintendo switch 2. It reads at 880 MB a second and rights at 650 MB a second. This is by far one of the best cards for your Nintendo switch 2 on the market. You can’t beat the price either. With a trusted name like SanDisk, this memory card performs exactly as you intended it to.

We had just purchased a Nintendo Switch 2 and needed an SD card. I looked online and found that Walmart had the card on sale for a lot less than I could have gotten it on Amazon. I placed the order Monday night and I was astounded that I received it the next day.

Just got it today. Ordered it this morning, was delivered by around 4:35p. Watched a quick u-tube video on how to install it onto my Switch 2. Was a breeze. Switch 2 reads 456GB of additional memory, as reported here. Great company. I feel confident this should hold us for a good while. With Bonanza coming out in 1.5 days, and the Switch 2 only released 5 weeks ago, memory expansion options have become very scarce . Both onn cards are sold out everywhere, which pretty much left the official Nintendo 256GB card and this one as options. For $18 more, I feel the extra 200GB this one gives you is worth the money.

Sandisk really made a quality card with this item, with the only drawback being that a larger capacity option would have been nice. However, as long as you manage the amount of games properly, this should last a while until the larger capacity cards become available and more widespread - and cost effective like standard micro sd cards. Great speeds, fairly priced, I definitely recommend this as a starter option for extending the storage in your Switch 2 👍

I inserted the micro sd card express to my Switch 2, I was not prompted to format because it works right away. I moved over 10 games, then another 10, then in the middle of the next 10 games I got a corruption message. I try formatting, turn off/on the Switch 2 and It could not read the micro sd card express. I format my Switch 2 started from scratch and now it reads it. I am not comfortable with the micro sd card express, I think I will have issues later, but as of writing this review my files are being downloaded. I have the room nice and cool to avoid my Switch 2 and micro sd card express from getting overheating. I will give it a few days within the Return Window to see if it was user error (mine) or maybe the review I read about the card being corrupted after turning on the console is true. That would mean the card is faulty from manufacturer.

2026 kind of sucks because the cost of memory and RAM have skyrocketed thanks to AI data centers so what this 512 cost today is a lot more expensive than what 512 cost even 7 months ago. I was paying this much for 1 terabyte this time last year. showing that note the value kind of sucks, I'm not the biggest fan of SanDisk because they are not longevity wise reliable when you compare them to lexar or Samsung but for today's prices in 2026 this is not a bad deal nor is it a horrible product as this name brand does offer more reliability than what we're going to find with generic brands. so for right now it's a good stop gap until prices come back down which probably won't happen for another 3 years

This is twice the value and storage of the "official" card, but you get SanDisk quality and reliability (not to forget their incredible warranty). I probably didn't need the card, but I didn't want to be caught out when I download a game and these are selling like hotcakes. If you see it, grab it.
