ready to use, formatted exFAT 256GB-USB%26 C
this is a truly plug and play flash drive. it's already formatted exFAT, which means it doesn't limit guilt size like that old flash drives. has USB, and type C connections. and is encased in metal. 256GB nice unit

Space not 256GB
I tried to download a 9GB file and got an error that the device wasn't big enough. I had only downloaded two xKB files prior on the new device. I looked at the properties and there should have been 250GB available. I will return it.
