I love this radio, it not only looks cool with the transparent body, the inner workings and sound quality are just outstanding. This radio will pull in just about anything on the air. Totally amazing. If you like high quality, don't waste your money on any other radio. Buy Sangean and prepare to be impressed.

Not the same as the original radio!
Be careful when buying! There are two versions available, the version I bought was stripped down to the minimum; and the result was buying the prison version of this radio!!! I wanted the original version with ALL the features listed in the instructions. The government has restrictions on radios that are for inmates in the prison system!! So the only thing that would work is the AM band which has poor reception and rural areas, which is disappointing. The FM band still works but with a wire antenna, instead of the original whip antenna that came with the radio!! So take warning and buy carefully, be sure it's the original radio NOT the prison version of this radio!!!
