Sangean Ps-300 Pillow Speaker

Exceptional! I can make a column as loud or as quiet as I want! Needs to cover the actual speaker with light cloth as it's hard on the head! I used an old sock!!

great product and matches my Sangean radio although it will work with any audio device. The only criticism is the distance between the control and the speaker.

I bought this one week ago for my wife to help her sleep. She has mussic to sleep by and just loves the way it sounds.

After having used a pillow speaker from Radio Shack for many years, I had to find one when Radio Shack closed. I looked at several online, but most of them didn't have a volume control on the speaker, you have to set the volume on the TV itself. Sometimes you need to adjust the volume during a program, and I didn't want to have to get up to do that. This Sanjean speaker was the only one that I found with a volume control on the speaker itself. I also have owned a Sanjean shower radio for many years, so I knew that it was a reliable brand. The speaker is fairly flat, so that it's comfortable under my pillow., and has very good sound. I definitely recommend this speaker, the little extra cost is worth it.

Perfect size and easy controls.

You can't hear thru pillow I just set beside my pillow now don't disturb others. Use to have TV at 100% to hear. Th battery power boost is the key to louder thru the speaker. I purchased 25 foot cable adapter to reach TV speaker plug. Best so far I have tried crane pillow speakers but don't have battery power boost

The Sangean Ps-300 Pillow Speaker is an excellent product. It has the best features of any pillow speaker that I have ever owned. The cord length is more than sufficient for a device that is within several feet such as a night stand. The volume control make adjustments to volume convenient by not requiring interaction with the connected device and the switchable amplifier come in very handy if a device has extremely low output and can benefit from a signal/volume boost. This is a great product that I highly recommend.

This pillow speaker and amplifier is a great little addition to my go to sleep arsenal. I used to put my phone under my pillow to listen to audio books or music but this gadget does it better. It won't be powering Shea Stadium anytime soon but it works well under my pillow. It is VERY well made from Korea and I am impressed by the excellent construction and packaging. Strain relief on all the wire connections, long cables, robust plastic parts... I will be looking at more Sangean electronics in the future!

The unit did not work the first time I plugged it in! By moving the wire between the control and the speaker, you could tell the wiring was broken because I could hear intermittent sound on the speaker. Bad situation for a brand new product.
