Sansui 43" VA Series 4K UHD Frameless Design Smart TV with Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos, Google TV

Was really surprised by this budget TV. I purchased it to use as a combination TV and PC monitor and excelled in both use cases. I was concerned that color accuracy and picture uniformity (especially with the backlight) would be an issue, but this turned out to be a solid TV with good color, decent brightness for the price range, and no uneven splotchiness in the whites or blacks which was impressive and very important when used as a PC monitor. I did have to turn off HDR, however, when used as a PC monitor since it started to wash out some of the contrast resulting in difficulty seeing faint lines (like the grid on an Excel spreadsheet). The Google TV interface is solid and responsive. Don't let the weird off-brand "Sansui" name scare you. Sansui is just a licensed name and the OEM of the actual panel and components I'd wager is the same as what you would find in budget panels of more recognized name brands.

I ordered this 43" Sansui TV and while it did take awhile to arrive, it was worth the wait. It has a very nice picture out of the box. The only adjustment I did make was to turn down the brightness. Blu-ray looks very nice on this unit. The remote and GUI are simple and responsive. I have it mounted on a floor stand in the bedroom. I like it so much I'm considering getting another one.

It should be a nice TV if the TV stands had not switched between models. If Walmart could provide the link to contact the seller, things would be easier. I couldn't insert the screws of the stands to the small holes on the TV since these holes had no screw threads and were way smaller, most like snap inserts.

Ordered on Dec 2nd 2024 but delivered on December 12 2024. But sansui tv 43" google tv good quality and sound is great. Easy to setup

shipping took almost three weeks, got the tv, and it's great, but there are no dobly atoms, just dolby Audio.
