The origin of Santa and his elves. John Lithgow plays the villain who's out to outdo Santa. Add an orphan named Joe, who befriends Santa, and helps him to make everything right again. The core of the story is about family and how the people that matter most to you, are the ones that affect your life the most. And all other kinds of heart warming junk.

This is a good Blu ray release of Santa Claus (1985) 25th Anniversary edition. The disc is a authentic press and is a normal duel layer media with a high bit rate. The movie is approximately 30GB which is standard for a high quality movie on Blu ray. The film looks slightly grainy but is acceptable for a movie this old. These days anytime I buy media from anywhere I am very diligent in examination of the product immediately after the product arrives (Never wait). I do this because of three big reasons. First to make sure it's an authentic pressed disc, Second to make sure the copy is functional and third if issues are present return it as soon as possible.

I like the movie. The story is good vs. evil in an over-done way. The problem is with the Blu-ray. I cannot get the audio to play. The picture is better than the DVD.

I ordered this item week ago and it was supposed to be de;ivered by the 18th then they said it would be delivered by the 21st . I ordered it on the 14th. Walmart has done this before and I never received what I ordered . My credit card company eventually took the charge off my account .
