Be carefully when putting together. One side is more smooth and finished than the other. Sturdy bed!

Sturdy bed.
The bed is made of heavy wood and appears sturdy. There is a slight smell, perhaps from the stain. Directions were a bit inadequate because the orientations of the wood pieces are critical and resulted in some second tries. Short one long bolt. One hole was not drilled. A few boards were warped but does not seem to affect the overall fit. Overall, bed was fairly well made.
