This product was purchased for my son as a birthday gift. The picture is clear, the sound is clear and he love the size. I love the price - Thank-you
This was a great buy and it has a beautiful picture. I just love it!!!
Great for salads, and groups
Nice picture, good sound. I own several other products made by Sanyo and all are performing well to this day! I recommend this TV highly! I will be purchasing another one ot these 40" this weekend. Thanks Wal-Mart.
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago and everything is working good. For the price you cant beat it. The sound could be improved but thats to be expected with a budget tv. The picture is crisp. Only time will tell how the tv holds up but as of now I dont have any doubts that it wont.
Great picture and sound for the price, I have always had good luck with Sanyo for more than 30 years. I bought this for my mother who was holding out on buying a flat screen until her now 20 year Sanyo 30 inch died which hasnt btw. At any rate always buy the 2 year free replacement and youâll never get burned.
Just bought the 40" Sanyo. Putting legs on was a little tricky due to the 4 screws. Hard to get them lined up with holes. Set up of the TV took 2 minutes tops. Picture looks much better than the 32" 720 TV it replaces. Perfect for my bedroom. Sound is very good. This is a basic TV and I love the fact this is not a smart TV with all the APS (HBO/NETFLIX/You Tube...). Just plug it in, set up and start watching. If something breaks I'll do a follow up review.
Obviously not the best picture. Fills the whole screen for me. FIOS picture is ok with hdmi. I tried my iPhone connected to the 2nd hdmi with an lightning-to-digital AV apple adapter and the picture with Netflix and YouTube (set to 1080) was remarkably better than through my FIOS box. Decent tv for the clearance price of $154. Need to get a soundbar for it, though. Sound is a little thin in the huge finished basement home gym. I imagine it would be fine in like a bedroom or something.
Purchased this due to the price but ended up returning it. You can see the pixels, it's very grainy. The sound is good. We ended up purchasing a vizio 43in for an extra $60 dollars. It has netflix and all the other good stuff built into it. The Sanyo to me wasn't worth it.
The 40" display only fills the screen when you have it in Zoom mode, which cuts off part of the picture. In all the other modes the picture has a huge frame around it of wasted space. What a ripoff! and misleading advertising of display model in store. I would have returned it if the box hadn't been destroyed already.
