Great buns for making a pizza burgers I put them in the oven and get them all little bit harder than what they are. That way when you put the hamburger on and don't make them softy gooey I put a little butter on them and take hamburger and mix a Ragu spaghetti sauce with it not real I don't want real oh watery and man is it good and I put that cheese on the top. All your changes are very good products.
I love these brioche buns! I only discovered them a few months ago. They make great vege protein-based burgers and hold a load of toppings without falling apart (burger patty, thick slice of red onion, fresh spinach, Grillos dill pickles mayo and mustard). They are pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend these brioche buns.
I buy these Sara Lee's Brioche when I make homemade burgers and they are delicious. I got the idea from somebody's restaurant . It makes the burger seem so premium. As I completely stopped ordering DELIVERY due to high costs, I decided to have fast food choices available at home. This may also qualify as a step to healthier eating. Again, the Brioche buns add to the burger. They are also affordable.
So, on vegetarian food day in our house, I prepared a feast of 4 ingredient potato soup and fluffily and deliciously made egg and cheese sandwiches on these brioche buns slathered with a nice salad dressing, maybe even toast these magestic buns to yer liking and and and a side a homemade fruity side dish like a combo of cherries, halved green grapes, some chunked up canned peaches all gently combined and I tell you what, these tasty buns would be the ONLY thing mentioned when you write home about the meal. Translation: good buns for real!
These have basically replaced bread in my house no more kids and I use these for just about everything I use bread on oh yea if you haven't tried these In the Hawaiian flavor u must so Sara Lee artisan Hawaiian style buns are the ones I'm talking about
I love Sara Lee products and these brioche hamburger buns are awesome and taste great. I use them for burgers, breakfast and other sandwiches, I purchase them many times. They are reasonably priced.
These buns aren't our favorite, but they're not terrible. I do wish they held up a little better. Works better for cold sandwiches. Not as dense as we prefer, but has a good brioche flavor. Mine fell apart when using for sloppy joes. I had to make ot an open-face, because when I picked it up, it fell apart.
Sara Lee's Artesano Brioche Buns are a marvel of modern breadmaking — lite, airy, and wonderfully fluffy. They flirt with pastry territory so much so that a dusting of powdered sugar could easily push them over the edge. For cold cuts and cheese, they make a delightfully soft and sweet pairing. However these buns fall apart under pressure — quite literally. Try loading them with a juicy burger and melted cheese, and you'll be left holding a soggy mess. They simply can't handle the weight or moisture turning to mush far too quickly. For hearty meals, you'd be better off with a sturdier option — even plain sandwich bread would hold up better. A tasty bun, but it's built for elegance, not endurance.
They substituted this item for the hamburger buns I normally get. Not only were they more expensive, but they are worse than the $1 store bought buns. Never again. They fall apart on the first bite, so it's the same as having no buns! Don't buy them!
I'm not going to claim it's not hard to keep bread items from being destroyed but if you if you place items on top of it it's going to smash the buns were destroyed
