Artesano Original Bread, 20 oz, White Pre-sliced White Bread, Bag

I really like this bread. If I can’t find my favorite sourdough bread, this is what I choose. I’m diabetic and was told by a doctor to Freeze the bread overnight, then toast and the molecules change to where it won’t cause a blood sugar spike! It’s true! 👍

The best tasting sliced bread I have ever eaten. My father was an Italian bread baker. Rarely did we have sliced bread in my home. This is a little pricey, but I will not stop ordering it. Thank you Sara Lee for your Artesano. I am 84 and have tasted the rest over the years. This is my first review ever. ENJOY!!

Tasty white bread that is just as healthy as the wheat bread I was purchasing. Had this at my daughter’s and fell in like!! A lot of like! Although I’ll probably go back to a different wheat, I will definitely be getting my occasional craving fix with the wide slices of this artisan fluffy bread. Makes fabulous grilled cheese and pbj sandwiches.

Using these sandwich slices to make a grilled sandwich is great: Paint the cooking sides of the bread with garlic oil Place slice into HOT frying pan Add your meat and cheese Place second slice on top, with minimal squishing. Turn it over, and the cheese will start to bind the sandwich together. Yummy-yum-yum…

by accident, I had to use Sara Lee Artesano, for Philly cheese stake , and it was perfect. later I toasted it, pinched it into bite sized pieces and put it in a bowl. I then poured the Philly mixture over it. Wow! Philli in a bowl. excellent for ham and cheese sandwich too. good price too. Sara Lee; right up there with Mrs. Bairds.

I have become a “bread snob “ growing up it’s was wonder bread then butter top for decades. Now I’m in my Mid 50s and will not eat anything else but this kind of bread.. I might get the other that they have like this like Hawaiian . But I’m only going to Favorite this one. It’s soft , has a great texture, toasted or not . From PB%26J ( my favorite) lol to a toasted roast beef with lettuce and tomato. Don’t say I didn’t warn you lol . Go be a bread snob with me . We can start a “fan club “ lol I hope yall love it too .

This bread is thicker, and has a thicker texture like Italian bread - but it’s like a sandwich-style bread that’s a little wider than it is tall - it fits right in-between Texas Toast and regular bread, but if you have pre-made garlic oil (olive oil and garlic) - you can brush it on your sandwiches (think any kinds of cold cuts cheeses etc.) and grill them in a hot pan like a Reuben. I did it with deli pastrami and provolone, and another with prosciutto. Yum indeed.

I found the bread very soft and fluffy. I found it ideal to make perfect sandwiches with it. The fact that it was made without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives was important to me. This is a very good bread, very easy to put spread on, just good bread overall.

This is the MOST ECONOMICAL dinner wear service sets around. Every year, I purchase the upgraded colors and design (when they have the designer version) Mostly, it's the solid colors, that I like the most. Plus, it's fun to mix them up so we can make a rainbow setting. ♥️🌈

I am officially spoiled by Sara Lee Artesano Original Bread and don't think I can ever go back to standard thin-sliced white bread. It’s sturdy enough to hold up to a massive sandwich without falling apart, but it’s also a total game-changer for French toast or grilled cheese because it soaks up flavors while staying pillowy in the middle. If you’re looking for a simple way to upgrade your lunch or just want a slice of toast that actually feels substantial, this is definitely the best store-bought loaf you can find!
