My husband works out and cut white flour out of his diet. This bread is an awesome substitute. I honestly can’t tell the difference and the texture is spot on, but so much better for you! I use it for toast, sandwiches, French toast, homemade garlic bread, croutons, can’t wait to try it as stuffing!
Finally found the perfect 'fresh bread'. Been looking for a bread that doesn't overwhelm the sandwich and this one is just right. Bonus: 45 calories a slice, keto - friendly and white bread made from whole grain.
As someone on Keto I swear by this Bread! Tho I'd recommend it toasted, unless you're having it w something sweet, it's usually better at least a little toasted. Not sure why, just tastes better. And also thank you Sara Lee for making a yummy (and AFFORDABLE/non-expensive) bread option for those of who are on Keto! (For whatever reason- especially those who're Diabetic)
This bread is a game-changer for me. I've been on a low-carb diet for a couple of years. I was using regular hamburger rolls for my breakfast sandwich and an occasional burger. I was using Egg Free wraps for other things. Nothing wrong with the Egg Free wraps but just not that satisfying. I tried Sara Lee Delight bread and will not be looking back. I also watch sodium and this bread was lower in both. Make my first tuna melt in my air fryer, and it was delicious. I highly recommend that you give it a try.
I have a low carb diet and its hard to find good low carbs breads. This is has a few things I like about it. 1. The price is great $3.50 for 15oz package of bread is great when most low carb breads or keto breads are over 5 bucks for less bread. 2. Carbs are good. You only get 12 carbs per sandwich. That is about 6 carbs per slice. 3. Lower in salt. If you need a bread that is also lower in salt, this one is also good. 190mg of salt for TWO slices is good. I am also watching my salt intake and 190mg is lower than most breads which are usually higher in salt. 4. No Maltodextrin. This is usually used in breads for fake sweetness and sold as a sugar free ingredient. Maltodextrin is very bad for you and spikes your sugar more than regular sugar. Very bad if you are diabetic. 5. First ingredient is always the main ingredient in the food. First ingredient here is WHOLE wheat flour which is good. All in all, though not perfect it is a good choice for those that want a lower salt and lower carb bread choice.
I just received this bread today and it seems someone eat it before deliver it to my home because it's not full like used to be. I am so disappointed!
I normally like this bread. The bread company isn't at fault, it's Walmart and their grocery pickers. I was given a loaf of bread, that looks like some was missing from it. The loaves are usually bigger. It was definitely not fresh either!! It looks like a loaf that was stuck behind something, and probably sat on the shelf a week. I'm nervous about even trying to eat it.
My bread was all mashed!
Product was short dated. Today is 7/30 and out date is August 3.
They gave me bread today with an expiration date of TOMORROW!! April 10th! Ridiculous! Shoppers need to act like they are shopping for themselves! So mad!
