Sara Lee Frozen Classic Style Cheesecake, 17oz

My last piece of cheesecake was 10 years ago. Got a craving and decided to go cheap with this reliable brand. It is certainly NOT near as good as fresh rich NY style cheesecake but it is also not as high in calories as that and it is so convenient to thaw. I'm good for another 10 years.

Everyone loves these Sara Lee classic cheesecakes at my house. We usually get them for get togethers as an easy dessert with no cooking or baking just thaw and serve. Delicious! I do not eat sugar but I do cheat and eat it when we have this cheesecake.

Taste is fine but it really isn't like a cheesecake to me. It's not tangy enough. It's too soft. Some people might really like that but I don't. It's also teensy tinsy. Really small, so I feel it's definitely not worth the money. If you like that specifically, sure, I recommend it. It isn't bad. It just isn't "cheesecake." Ya know?

I remember Ed how much I enjoyed Sara Lee's cheesecake as a treat when I was a kid. I impulse bought one. I was very disappointed as it was not like the product I remembered. It was much smaller, about 6” but it's the way of the world these days. The cheesecake itself appeared to be less creamy as if the recipe changed. The texture was not the same. It tasted a bit bland. Very disappointed!

This was such a disappointment. I'm sure there were changes throughout the years, but I used to eat these frequently back in the early 80's. Throughout the years, graduated to real cheesecake, but for convenience went back to these occasionally. I have to say, the cheesecake part was off, not very tasty and the crust seemed bitter and not very pleasing overall. Some changes aren't for the better I guess.

Not very good. Sara lee used to be the best but as far as frozen this one was bland and pretty small. Elis is way better frozen and even the Walmart New York cheesecake is firmer. Not going to be buying Sara lee brand again after that last one.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. This was trash. either the factory didn't cook it all the way or walmart let it thaw fully before putting in the freezer and it refroze. it was disgusting! watery, mushy, the crust wasn't held together at all - just graham cracker that completely crumbled away from the cheesecake entirely. I used to LOVE sara lee cheesecakes; I'll never buy another one again. I didn't even eat it, it looked so disgusting.

I really thought this cheese cake would be pretty good with it being made by Sara Lee, and I thought the price was great. But this cheese cake was not good at all and there was barely any taste maybe because it was frozen and tasted kinda freezer burnt, I DK and I wasn't the only one that thought it was terrible! I really wish I could get a refund, that would be nice, well because I spend a lot of money at Walmart every month.

I did a pick up yesterday and got two Sara Lee classic cheesecakes, I don't know what was wrong with them, but I've never experienced this with their cheesecakes, they were mushy watery and tasted rotten, they were supposed to be our dessert for after last night‘s dinner and obviously that didn't happen, so I need you to refund for these cakes and also need to know what happened.
