I am single and live alone and if I have a craving for a sandwich or toast or something I end up buying a loaf of bread, fix my craving and end up throwing the whole rest of the loaf out so I'm really glad I found a half a loaf but it would be even better if you can find like 1/4 of a loaf because I'm still throwing bread away because I have no room in my freezer lol

I have thought for for many years that it would be great if the stores sold half loaves of bread. Finally!!. Its a little pricier than I expected since it IS half a loaf. But a lot of people, especially elderly, like me, don't eat as much and therefore end up having a lot of leftover bread .

What I like about Sara Lee Half Loaf White Bread, it's half loaf. I don't eat much bread so this is why I get it. The slices are a little to thick for my liking and I prefer the taste of a very fresh load of regular white bread, but it just goes to waste no more than I eat it. I'm not saying it's bad, but if the same size came in another brand I would try it.

I can’t comment on taste or quality of this item because it wouldn’t be fair to the company, Sara Lee. The purpose of this review is to address the people picking items. They picked an item (in this case is bread) which expires today! I am going to request a refund.

I usually buy this in half loaf usually do not have an issue . I like the bread , but this was disappointing I didn't even get a half loaf of the half loaf. It was delivered so I did not pick it myself however it's not their fault either you couldn't see it really while it was in the package . 50/50 idk

The one positive about this product is its size; that is, for those of use who live alone and often have to toss part of a loaf because we could not eat the entire thing before it turned moldy, the size ("half loaf") is great (I only tossed one slice). BUT my taste buds were horrified. I haven't eaten very much white bread since childhood so I can't remember it if supposed to be squishy and taste like wet cardboard while simultaneously being bland beyond belief. If that is its taste profile, this product nailed it. I did eat this loaf (reluctantly) because I really hate waste, but....Bottom line: I will not be purchasing this item again.

Bread was out of date and expired March 16. Not healthy to consume while I am pregnant.

This plain white bread, on the inside (not the crust), was discolored and damp as if it were moldy.
