Sara Lee White Bread, Half Loaf, 12 oz, Sandwich Bread, Bag

I like it because I don't like throwing out all the extra bread because I don't eat it fast enough and it gets moldy. I live alone and waste alot of food because I don't get at it. Half loaves are the answer to wasting bread. now if the price comes down, 👍

I am single and live alone and if I have a craving for a sandwich or toast or something I end up buying a loaf of bread, fix my craving and end up throwing the whole rest of the loaf out so I'm really glad I found a half a loaf but it would be even better if you can find like 1/4 of a loaf because I'm still throwing bread away because I have no room in my freezer lol

I have thought for for many years that it would be great if the stores sold half loaves of bread. Finally!!. Its a little pricier than I expected since it IS half a loaf. But a lot of people, especially elderly, like me, don't eat as much and therefore end up having a lot of leftover bread .

I was very happy to find half loaves of, bread! Being the only person, in my household, full loaves of bread always go to, waste. I was thrilled to find this, and being that it’s, Sara Lee, I knew that it would be a delicious, and high quality, as all of their products, always are.

Perfect size for a single person that doesn’t eat a lot of bread. The only thing I do not like is the entire loaf is only about .75 cents more. Wish the price was a little more cheaper for people on a very tight budget. And yes I have tried freezing half, and I cannot eat it once frozen then thawed.

Sara Lee HALF LOAF was a great find for us as we do not use much bread. Sara Lee always has quality products, a family favorite. It was nice to be able to purchase a smaller loaf and not have to freeze part of it or throw half away. The only problem is the stores do not always have this particular item in stock.

This is the BEST invention since sliced bread!!! The loaf is the perfect size so you don’t have a huge loaf of bread going stale on you! Its soft and fresh and it’s just amazing for singles or small families OR if you have a big family and don’t want bread to go stale on you, buy several of these babies and freeze and use as needed!!! So PERFECT!!!!

I did not care for the flavor and texture of this bread. It's not what I expected when I ordered it. I thought the slices were too thick. It reminded me of Texas toast and I had fixed a sandwich with it and did not enjoy it. I also didn't care for the flavor.

The one positive about this product is its size; that is, for those of use who live alone and often have to toss part of a loaf because we could not eat the entire thing before it turned moldy, the size ("half loaf") is great (I only tossed one slice). BUT my taste buds were horrified. I haven't eaten very much white bread since childhood so I can't remember it if supposed to be squishy and taste like wet cardboard while simultaneously being bland beyond belief. If that is its taste profile, this product nailed it. I did eat this loaf (reluctantly) because I really hate waste, but....Bottom line: I will not be purchasing this item again.
