Price isn't much different from craft string cheese. But for some reason, I like Sargento is better. It just is melt in the mouth for me. Apparently it's also one of my older sons favorites because I have to buy it a lot because apparently it disappears rapidly when he's around.
Always tastes fresh. Firm with distinct stringing quality. Satisfying. Just the right amount of salty. No sour taste or smell. Nothing gummy. No weird ingredients. Packaging always sturdy, but pells apart smoothly every time. Always separates without tearing into adjacent pieces.
These are a staple in our house. My kids actually eat them, which is saying something. The texture's smooth, they peel easily, and they taste like real cheese—not rubbery or bland like some others. I like that they're individually wrapped and easy to toss into lunchboxes or grab on the go. No weird ingredients, no complaints. Just solid string cheese.
Hi I've tried all kinds of cheese, but this one is my favorite, it's a little pricy, but worth it, Sargento all there cheeses are natural, no artificial anything, or preservatives, and it's natural, I buy the Light String Cheese reduced fat, even the my dogs like it, a special treat I give them every so often:)
This is my favorite kind of string cheese, By far. I think it's the saltines of it compared to others. It just has a much better flavor. In my opinion. Some of the other ones are kind of bland. This taste like it has a good base. So I will continue to enjoy this product and hope if you were on the fence but read this and got it, that you were just as satiated.
When you want or need a little snack, these are just the perfect bite of cheese! As a T2 diabetic, my doctor told me that a slice or snack of cheese is just the thing to keep your sugar levels balanced! I trust Sargento to make good cheese and this one meets my needs! I try to always have these sticks around, because I like them, and they do the trick for me!
Sargento String Cheese is the best for a quick and satisfying snack. I love that it's made with real cheese and has that perfect texture for peeling apart. The flavor is fantastic, and it's a great source of protein. I'll toss a couple in my bag for work or pack them in my kids' lunches. It's a simple snack that never disappoints
this is the best string cheese ever. I've had them all, and this is by far the best, I wish it came in a quality size bag, though. great source of calcium, and protein. It also makes for great homemade mozzarella sticks, but the way to go for those are the bigger bags of cheaper ones like kraft bc they're cheaper and you get more. but these are a healthy snack and amazing!
I eat Sargento pepper jack cheese with my eggs, on sandwiches ect however when I bought the string cheese I found it very spicy/hot. More spicy than the sliced cheese. Sargento cheese may cost a tiny bit more but is well worth it because it is good quality. I live in WI and we are the dairy State so we eat a lot of dairy. Wasn't hard to give it away as my sister loves spicy cheese.
This is my absolute favorite string cheese of all of the different varieties and brands that I have tried. The sticks are more on the firm side, and not mushy or diluted with gelatin like some others, and offers a very satisfying pull apart "shred". I also enjoy the slight hint of salty flavor that you get with a true cheese.
