Sargento® Natural American Sliced Cheese, 12 Slices

These cheese slices taste really good, mild and moist. It is not sharp at all like cheddar. I don't eat a lot of cheese so I would like smaller packets. I have been eating this cheese with crackers. It has a perfect taste also for grilled cheese sandwiches. I will buy it again.

I'm not a huge fan of American cheese. I like it on grilled cheese and prefer others for everything else. This tastes like American cheese but it isn't waxy and has such a good flavor. The best way to describe it is a high quality American cheese. It melted easily, tasted great, but it was still American.

Let me just say it: if you're still buying that other “cheese” that barely melts and tastes like cardboard wrapped in plastic, it's time for an intervention. Sargento's natural American slices actually taste like real cheese—crazy concept, I know. The flavor is creamy, smooth, and rich, and it melts perfectly on burgers, grilled cheese, or even just a piece of toast when you need a quick snack. The texture feels natural, not rubbery or weird, and it actually makes your sandwiches taste like something you'd want to Instagram. Honestly, once you go Sargento, going back feels like a crime against your taste buds. For anyone tired of fake cheese disasters, this is the upgrade your lunch deserves.

Real American cheese! The cheese has a fresh clean taste and reminds me of the cheese we used to get when I was a child. Better tasting than the fresh sliced from the deli and not nearly as salty! Amazing melting on burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches with a true old fashioned flavor. Tastes great on a cold sandwich as well. No ultra processing flavor and simple packaging will make this my go to American Cheese from now on.

I'm a huge fan of Sargento cheese first of all. I hadn't tasted American cheese before. was good with crackers or folded n eaten straight away. When I'm hungry for cheese I don't care about sandwich or taco etc. Texture was good even folded to be thick. Taste was nice. No plasticky after effects. I almost made a cheese melt but the weather been too weird for hot food n it's been hard to find something to eat that doesn't get cranky with me. The Sargento American cheese was like part of the Three Bears Story. It was just right!!!

This is by far the best prepackaged American cheese available. It's very good for cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, or cheese omelettes I will be buying this agains and again.

LOVE that they have made an American cheese!!!! So oweey goowey!!!! Adding this to our hamburgers improved them! And the grilled cheese sandwichies....the bomb!

Terrific cheese. Good flavor and texture, and melts nicely for my grilled cheese sandwiches. I actually use four different Sargento cheeses - that brand has never disappointed me.

I felt the flavor was a bit too much like cheddar cheese to be called American. It was good but not the flavor I want for American Cheese. It melted very nicely. The packaging is supposed to be resealable but the zipper type closure would not stay closed so i had to wrap it to store unused slices. The parchment paper between slices was also very nice. Overall, this would be a great product for cheddar lovers who want a very melty cheese. If you prefer the American cheese flavor, this might be less desirable. I am not sure it is worth the price over store brand American.
