Sargento Natural Havarti Sliced Cheese, 10 Slices

This cheese has less sodium and less fat than a lot of other cheeses.Sargento cheeses are always premium quality in my opinion. This cheese is a little expensive at $3.47 for 10 slices but every once in a while I feel that it's worth it for a healthy treat. It is very mild so if you like a strong tasting cheese, it is not for you. The flavor is subtle .

Thank you for putting another flavor of cheese in the slices. One gets board with cheddar, provolone, swiss and pepper Jack. It is nice to put a slice of Havarti cheese on my burger or with my crackers or on top of my tomato soup. Yum, just thinking about it is making me hungry!

Creamy and flavorful, Havarti is a go-to sandwich cheese. Pairs especially well with turkey and chicken lunchmeats. Ham and Havarti beats Ham and Swiss most any day. Carries well with mayo or aioli; strong mustard will overpower it. Think of it as less-sharp Swiss. A new weekly dinner main: Smokey bacon aioli, Havarti and Chicken grilled on buttered Hawaiian bread.

Take a good look at the package before adding it to your shopping cart. I have bought this Sargento Sliced Havarti Natural Cheese nearly 200 times. Two or three times, the package was barley torn open and the cheese had visible mold on it. Now I pause to take a good look before purchasing it. For me this is the best tasting cheese. I'm confident that the packages were torn by over zealous customers who left the torn package for the next customer. Sargento has high quality controls in place and would never let a torn package leave the their facility.

love this cheese the taste and how it melts , soooo good love on my burgers especially and any sandwich. My only issue is twice I have gotten it it has devolped mold on it so fast like it was so close if not already expired when I recieved it, so not really issue at all with the cheese itself but maybe watch the self life and expiration date

Sargento is known for CHEESE. This flavor is superb to use on an air fryer grilled cheese. I will be purchasing this on repeat for sure! Give this air fryer grilled cheese recipe to try. I don't think you'll go back to pan frying grilled cheese anymore! 4 thick slices of bread*, 2 -3 slices cheese of choice, thin coating of softened butter. Toothpicks for securing your sandwich together in the air fryer. Place a buttered slice of bread face down in your air fryer and layer your cheese on top and cover with your other slice of bread butter side facing up. Secure with toothpick. Cook at 370° for 5 to 6 minutes. At three minute mark, remove toothpick and flip your sandwich. Cook until desired crispiness making sure your cheese is melted. Voilà there is your delicious crispy air fryer, grilled cheese. Enjoy!

This is my first time trying Havarti cheese and it's delicious, creamy, with just a little tang. I regularly buy Sargento cheese because the quality ingredients and flavors are the best hands down. We used these slices on sandwiches, chicken clubs, and as a snack with boiled eggs and fruit. I will be adding this flavor to our weekly shopping list from now on.

I like this, but it gives my grandson JJ a chance to be a crack-up like his granddaddy, who's me. Calls this stuff Hafarty instead of Havarti and boy does he laugh at that. Might be his first ever joke, I don't know. I said, Say it to your granma—that's Willa, my wife—and the little firecracker says, Would you please pass the Hafarty cheese? And Willa don't know what's up so she passes him the cheese but we're both laughin hard enough to bust. Willa just looks at us like we're bonkers so I say, Honey, would you mind “cuttin one” of those pieces of Hafarty? Only this time she gets it and is not happy one bit, especially when JJ says, Oo, Granma cut one! I was moppin my eyes from laughin so hard and thankfully Willa comes around and gives us a smile and soon we're all laughin together cause in our hearts we know our little grandson will bring us years of laughter to come. Ain't life grand?

The paper separating the slices does not cover all of the slice. When You try to separate the slices, one part of a slice stuck to the next slice. Thereby, when you put a sandwich together, some part of the sandwich had more than a slice and some part of the sandwich had one slice.

This cheese doesn't really have the havarti taste or texture/richness, but as a random sliced cheese in a sandwich it works well. So don't buy it if you know what havarti should be like, but it is a wholesome cheese as a variation on American slices.
