Let's be real, a sandwich is only as good as its structural integrity and flavor distribution. I have always been highly particular about my deli builds, knowing that the thickness of the ingredients fundamentally changes the eating experience. This is exactly why the Sargento Provolone Natural Cheese with Natural Smoke Flavor Ultra Thin Slices have become an absolute staple in my kitchen. The precision of this cut is nothing short of remarkable. The true standout feature here is the expertly crafted flavor profile. Infusing cheese with smoke can sometimes result in an artificial, bitter, or overpowering taste, but this natural smoke flavor hits an authentic, delicious sweet spot. It delivers a rich, earthy, and robust essence that beautifully complements the inherently mild, creamy nature of the provolone without overpowering it. Whether I am pairing it with a robust peppered turkey, savory roast beef, or a classic black forest ham, the smoky undertones elevate the entire flavor palette to something you would expect from a high-end, artisan delicatessen. When it comes to culinary performance, the ultra-thin cut completely changes the game for both cold and hot applications. Because the slices are so fine, they fold over themselves effortlessly. I love creating a beautiful, airy ribbon texture with the cheese in cold sandwiches, which significantly enhances the mouthfeel. More importantly, when introduced to heat, these slices melt with astonishing speed and uniformity. Draping a few pieces over a sizzling burger patty, layering them into a gooey grilled cheese, or tucking them into a hot chicken cheesesteak guarantees a flawless, velvety melt every single time without any oily separation. From a practical standpoint, the thin slicing is a massive advantage for portion control and macro-management. Having 20 ultra-thin slices means I can customize my cheese-to-meat ratio with absolute precision. Sometimes I just want a whisper of smoky creaminess, and a single slice does the trick beautifully while keeping the meal light. Other times, I want to build a towering, decadent masterpiece, and I can easily layer three or four slices to achieve that intense cheesy bite. The reliable, resealable packaging keeps the cheese perfectly fresh and prevents the edges from drying out over time in the deli drawer. Ultimately, the attention to detail in this Sargento style completely transforms everyday meals into gourmet experiences. The reliable quality ensures that the twentieth slice is just as pliable, flavorful, and perfect as the very first one I pulled from the pack. If you take your lunchtime creations seriously and want to inject a massive amount of flavor without adding unnecessary bulk to your bread, adding this exquisitely crafted, smoky provolone to your culinary arsenal is a no brainer.
I have long been a fan of Sargento cheese. It always tastes great, fresh. But now they have been cutting the cheese. The blocks were 8 oz, now 7 oz. They have cut back on the sliced and shredded cheese as well. If you need a specific amount of cheese for a recipe, you may need to buy 2.
Sargento provolone sliced cheese is the greatest. its in a zip lock bag. I love provolone cheese. it's my favorite. evenly sliced . Sargento is the best product on the market . they have different variations of cheeses. all good. another good thing you don't have to spend time waiting in line for someone to slice your cheese. it's already done for you.
this was good slices are kind of thin I just used them to cover some meatball subs and I use the Great Value Homestyle meatballs Now using those you might want to put some Italian seasoning if you like I use the marinara sauce that's a great value now I did get the other brand I think it's I think Rassio the Italian the Angus beef the Angus beef was too good now those are bigger meatballs and the Italian ones are bigger than the Great Value Homestyle but I wanted to get a better value so I went ahead and went with a great value meatballs home so which I have used more than one time and I like those you can always use them for beef stroganoff sometimes I'll cook it just a little bit in the microwave and break it and put it on my pepper and pizza and can make spaghetti or you can just eat meatballs whatever you do with meatballs yeah but I like to the Homestyle Great Value meatballs
Super creamy cheesy and yummy! With just the right amount of spinach. IIt could use more artichokes. Other than that great price for a perfect portion for 2 !
Trusted Company with quality cheeses! We love this provolone cheese! We love that it's sliced and just the right size to put in sandwiches, in many dishes, to melt on or in omelets, add to soups, or eat as a healthy, calcium snack! We love it!
I am an absolute fan of provolone cheese. My son's father introduced me to this cheese back in the early 90s and now provolone is the only kind of cheese that I will eat on my sandwiches.
I tried to get a response of no I would not recommend it because they it's not as good as the great value is and it says smoke but it has no smoke takes to it. It's too thin. It's just not worth the money that's it.
i did not ask for this item. i ordered 1 pound of provolone from the deli!! i also o ly wanted 1 red pepper and 1 green pepper. what i got was 1 green and a package with 2 red and 1 yellow, which i do not need!! there is a note to put my items on picnic table and they are continuously putting them on the ground!! NOT HAPPY!!
This provolone package has been tampered with I found only five slices stuck together tried to separate them but they just came apart I pieces ,also there was a silver wrap included with Prosciutto init where it shouldn't have been the package read provolone just asI ordered now what's the meaning of that ?refund expected it went to the garbage for I wasn't consuming any of that stuff !
