My family always purchased Great Value as it tasted great and was much less expensive. For the last several months it has been terrible, so now we switched to Sargento. The taste is out of this world, it's always fresh and only about a dollar more. That dollar is so well worth it!
I buy this brand when I can't get fresh deli slices, however I do like the resealable bag and the slices are a perfect thickness for my Reubens....the flavor is delicious and it's creamy for Swiss...I'm don't like the hard and waxy Swiss cheese for the Reubens, this brand is PERFECT for hot sandwiches.
I love this Swiss Cheese! It is so flavorful and I like to keep it on hand for any cheese purpose. Swiss is lower in sodium than other kinds of cheese, so it helps with a low sodium diet. I have tried several other brands, but Sargento is my favorite for its wonderful flavor!
We love Swiss cheese and grill sandwiches often. Sargentos is a great choice for taste and quality ingredients. I have had to check the salt/sodium content and this was the lowest salt content of all the Swiss cheeses in the store! By a lot. They don't advertise it as low salt and you probably won't miss it at all.
yeah I got me some Black Forest ham Kentucky Legend and I wanted to have some swiss cheese with it so I bought some twist this time the sargentos usually I get the provolone in the sargentos and I get the bricks and mozzarella and sharp cheddar white and yellow the great value nothing wrong with great value baby
I love Swiss cheese %26 this has good flavor. I wish they sold it by the block in many different brands, but the only block ones are either very pricey or the great value one. And that kind is disgusting. So, I get this in slices bcuz that's all that's available.
In many ways I find bigger name brands are indistinguishable from Wal-Mart's, except for the price. So I usually buy Walmart. This is an exception. The Walmart cheese is almost impossible to use by the slice, they are all stuck together. I don't know why its different but it is. This comes out neatly, slice by slice. The taste seems to be the same however
I'm not a really big Swiss Cheese fan but needed these for some Chicken cordon Bleu sandwiches so they worked pretty well. There is only 11 in each package so when making them we ended up being short which kinda sucked but that's fully on us,I didn't want to get another package just to use one more slice and have the rest most likely go to waste
Sargento's Swiss Cheese is OK - not the best I have ever had. But, for some reason Sargento's AGED Swiss Cheese is very good. Unfortunately, Walmart decided NOT to carry that product anymore. I have tried several times to get the manager's to purchase it, but requests to Walmart fall on deaf ears!
I always order Sargento cheeses but I fotunatelythis time the Swiss cheese tasted like chemicals. I called Sargento customer service to let them know. I'm guessing that is why you canceled my order today. Thats ok. I'm canceling my Walmart membership because of it.
