This probably won't work for everyone, but it helped me fall asleep on a noisy, crowded plane ride. The sleep mask has wonderful cushioning that feels really nice on the face and completely blocked out light for me. Some will not like the fact that you're literally strapping your head to the chair, but I didn't mind it in the least.

It keeps your head from bobbing when you try to sleep on a plane. Excellent way to sleep. To get out of it temporarily you just lift the eye mask (which is really soft) and you can slide back into it or just un-velcro one side

I've always had trouble sleeping in plane seats. This contraption does a great job of blocking out the light, fits over my noise cancelling headphones and keeps me from feeling like I need to lay down on the tray table. I was able to rest on a long flight.

I have seen another one like this for 3 times the amount. I think they would both have the same problem. The problem that I experienced was tension on the forehead. Yes this is great for what it does, however, it does apply pressure to the forehead after a while but my wife discovered a work around. Instead of having it across your eyes, put it on your chin. It still works great you just don't have anything covering your eyes. I think what can be done with this is a chin strap like one used in football helmets with the same Velcro. You can keep the eye shades on and with the chin strap you can relieve some of the tension from your forehead.

This product is as described. The only issue for me is that the item had to be very tight to support my head fully. This times felt uncomfortable with the amount of pressure on my eyes and it left marks on my face after sleeping. However, I completely agree that it does keep someone's head from bobbing during a flight and that did allow me to get better rest.

it actually works, it wasn't that I could slumber for hours in it but was able to catch some shut eye time without folding forward in my seat, just install the base when you first enter seat, that way you won't have to twist while sitting

I chose this because I had to get something over night, and it seemed reasonable. Quality is decent, but no matter how we adjusted it, could not find a comfortable way to use it. Sitting on a plane for all night overseas trip is torture, but this did not help. Maybe it works for others.
