Worked as expected
These coax F connector compression fittings work great. They work well with both dual and quad shielded RG-6 coax cable. Although, using the connectors with quad shielded coax cable does take a little bit more work to fold back the steel braidef shielding, so the cable will fit in the connector. However, the little bit of extra time is well worth the end results.
I can't overstate how great these connectors are. I've used a few other compression-style connectors before these, and they were all absolute murderers on my hands. I had to push them onto the ends of the cables so hard that I couldn't get through more than 4 connections before I had to take a break. And I always worried about damaging the cables. But these connectors are perfect. They just slip on so easily, and then I really only need to compress with a tool once in order to terminate, but I still do it a couple times just to make sure.
