Bought a replacement for my 84 yr old buddy!!
Walmart has been hounding me to write reviews for free...so I'll give them their money's worth...I bought it for my 84 year old friend who can barely see and doesn't hear so well, but boy can he curse! It was an exact replacement for the remote he lost, so asked me to get him another, so I did. It was a day late arriving, so word of warning-the 'delivery date' shown when they are trying to sell you the product often isn't the same as when you buy it. Finally, the remote works fine but if it only had around 10 big buttons and he can figure those buttons out, well you'd have a happy 84 year old -amazing 'cause it don't happen that often.

with Altice Optimum Cablevision Cable Box Remote
The item is a large remote that is easy to handle. The directions appeared to be very straight forward however they did not work. After going through all of the instructions, because you have to find the one that works for your TV, I was able to get my TV to turn off but once off the remote could not turn it back on or adjust the sound. No matter what process I used I could not get the remote to work. I was sure it would work because I have an Altice Optimum Cablevision Cable Box
