I bought these shoes in October and have ran about 225km in them. These have proven to be a shoe that gets better with every wear. I have predominantly wore them on ice and snow and have found the grip to be excellent, the foam stays soft and comfortable even in -30 celcius temperatures. They have been fantastic for short runs (30 minutes) and longer runs (120 minutes). They are best for higher tempo runs but comfortable and stable enough as a daily trainer.
Just ran my first marathon in these at Disney. I really loved the first gen speeds, so I chose these, hoping I would love them just as much as the first model. When I wore them for my first long run, about 16 miles, they seemed like a completely different shoe compared to gen 1 speeds. While they were supportive and provided good energy return, my feet were just in pain by the end of that run. Slightly disappointed, but I'm glad I gave them another try. After about 25-30 miles in the shoe, they felt much better and I was finally comfortable making this my marathon shoe. They held up during the marathon, finished it in 4:02. If I could change anything about these, it would be the toe box. I've got wide feet and by the end of that marathon my toes were pretty sore, I think a wider toe box would have relieved some of that pain! All in all, I really enjoyed these, I even prefer them over the endorphin pro 1's and 2's. Looking forward to continue wearing shoes from the endorphin line, very fun to run in!
I bought these shoes form my local running shoe store to replace my daily trainers. Must say that I love the feel underfoot. I have over a 100kms in 3 weeks and after the initial break in which took around 50kms, the midsole came to life! The midsole had a firmer feel, isn't too mushy or soft and is very responsive. It's a perfect shoe for someone looking for a firmer pair of shoes to run their daily miles. One thing to note is that the rocker on the shoe promotes faster runs and all in comfort. I've done run multiple runs from slow paces to 10k paces, and I must say the sweet spot is somewhere at the half marathon to a marathon pace. I'd definitely buy another pair as I like my shoes to bit on the firmer and bouncier end.
The Endorphin 3 was a better shoe for me, however the 4 with a little more room in the toe-box was a better fit. the 4 did not have the bounce that the 3 had.
I bought two pairs about a month ago thinking they'd be just like series 1, 2 and 3 requiring no break in. I was wrong. I'm almost 100 miles in on the first pair I opened and still having major foot burn on my right foot. The shoe doesn't feel the same as the older versions and I'm disappointed I bought two pairs and have to deal with discomfort that seemingly isn't going away as I continue to log miles.
Slippery, uneven and hard on my feet. The interior material is very slick against any socks I wear, so I slide around in the shoes as I run. The soles are uneven, higher on the outside then the inside which makes them strange to run in. I've never got blisters so bad in my life and my feet start getting pins and needles after about 20-30 mins. I though they just needed breaking in but after a couple 10ks and a half dozen 5s they're still terrible.
I bought these a month ago and they're absolutely the worst, cheapest made running shoes I've ever bought. The heel part literally feels like it's made out of styrofoam and I felt completely unbalanced and uncomfortable whenever I wore them. I'm never buying sneakers online again.
Have been wearing Endorphin Speeds for some time now, starting with the 2 and then the 3. Been terrific. The 4 was a disappointment. Fit was completely different. Have tried tying them up tight and loose, but after a few km's feels like my feet are going numb or have a tingling sensation. Just not comfortable. And the laces are garbage. Super stretchy. I have seen similar complaint on some other Saucony new models. Go back to regular laces! Probably will donate these shoes to goodwill. No good to me.
Don't like running in these. Uncomfortable for long distance, doesn't have comfort of other daily trainers, and ironically feels slow to run in despite the name. Wish I could return. Love Endorphin Pros but Speeds really missed the mark.
Have purchased a 6 pairs in the past through website and local retailers. This recent pair started foot pain on first run, switched shoes and it went away. Tried them again and same thing. I run 20-30 miles a week and have never had a shoe cause this type of pain.
