Sauder Carson Forge Lateral File Cabinet, Washington Cherry Finish

This file cabinet looks awesome. It did take at least 2 hours to put together, though instructions were well put together and all the predrilled holes lined up perfectly. Great price for the quality.

Searched everywhere for an affordable replacement to my old file cabinet. Most places had either something hideous for cheap or something halfway decent for an exorbitant amount of money. This was affordable and looked even better in person than online. It is slightly darker wood than this picture shows, but for me that was a plus. It looks great and was easy to assemble.

Bought the matching writing desk first due to its size, but needed file drawers. This lateral File cabinet is the answer to that problem, and then some! As typical with Sauder products, the instructions were simple and everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The cabinet is a sturdy as anything I've used in a commercial office. Very roomy and the unit is solid and sturdy, even with the drawer open.

We purchased the desk a few years ago and decided to get the matching file cabinet. Both the desk and the cabinet were fun to put together. Everything fit together precisely. Beautiful, quality furniture at a fair price.

It's a great file cabinet, seems pretty sturdy and the building went smooth. There's metal caps for the feet and the ones in the back are loose, but once you flip it over it doesn't matter...might when it's moved but not a big deal.

We purchased this file cabinet to match a desk we already had. Looks more expensive than it was and appreciate the clear directions provided for assembly. However, step 16 on page 9 of book didn't go well. Part 1 tabs did not want to stay inside slots. Had to use strong wood glue and clamps to secure. This tabs need something to secure them in place. Every other piece assembled with cams or screws as needed. Some pieces could have been shipped pre-assembled for customer ease though. Cabinet is sturdy and looks very nice and for the price I would recommend for any home office (prefer this look rather than metal file cabinet).

So far so good. Went together easy enough. A lot sturdier than most products in this line of file cabinets.

Very nice looking and works well as a replacement for my old filing system. It did come with some damaged pieces. However, the support staff was extremely helpful and did ship replacement parts out right away. It does take some time to put together, but is well worth it.

The final product is a nice looking, heavy file cabinet that functions great. Assembly however isn't the easiest. I also had a piece that was missing several pre-drilled holes. It was easy to get the part replaced for free by the seller, but it took a few days to arrive and about half an hour to realize the error in the first place. Very happy with the final product though.

Awesome piece of furniture. Only had one problem, when assembling, found on the bottom piece gouges in it. Didn't have the time to wait for another piece to replace it.
