Sauder Costa L-Shaped Computer Desk, Chalked Chestnut Finish

This is a very beautiful and nice desk! The quality seems to be pretty decent! I haven't had any issues with it so far. I can't really speak much on the assembly as I paid extra to have it assembled for me.

I finished putting this together yesterday morning. Overall, it's a great desk. Very well constructed. My only complaint is the bottom file drawer seems that have the holes for the slides a little bit low. The slides had to be adjusted to the extreme limit and the drawer still needs some upward force to close completely. I purchased this on sale, and for the overall quality, I can overlook this little issue. If I had paid full price, I would not be happy at all.

I use this desk for work and it accommodates my three sewing machines, it is very durable, functional and looks great! Delivery on-time and easy, texted me to confirm their arrival. My husband put it together, lots of pieces so you need to be patient and a mechanical thinker, but the final assembled product was a very professional work desk, no material defects. Love the Costa Collection Chalked Chestnut as it is light and bright and doesn't make the room look small. So glad I ordered direct from Sauder, best price and delivery!

I ordered both the L Shaped Desk and Hutch together. I put them both together myself and it took 9 hours in total. 5 hours for the Hutch and 4 hours for the Desk. I've put many of these types of furniture together in the past so I am a bit experienced with them. The directions are very clear but be warned this takes a long time to assemble. I was not able to move the desk by myself or lift the Hutch alone so you will need someone to help with that as they are very heavy. But aside from the assembly of the units, I am very happy with it. One piece came damaged in shipping for the desk and I was sent the wrong size door stopper on the Hutch. Sauder customer service was great and had the replacement order created in less than 5 minutes on the phone with them. Very happy with it so far and my working from home experience just became much more comfortable.

I bought this desk with a hutch. It came in 3 large boxes, and you will have to completely assemble. Definitely recommend power tools and/or a handy-person to help you. They kept me in the loop the loop throughout delivery. The final product is amazing!! Im so happy with it. Its a beautiful color and really sturdy. Im ready to buy matching sets now. Totally love it.

This is a large, sturdy, good-looking desk. The instructions were mostly easy to follow, but you do have to pay very close attention to every detail. The material is very heavy, making it hard to work with by yourself sometimes, but that's normal for "engineered" wood. The door and drawers can be tricky getting them lined up right - takes some patience and multiple tries, but the drilled holes and fasteners all lined up as they should. Would have preferred drawers that slide super easy, like on a different Sauder desk I have. These are much stiffer to operate. The size is good, and the chalked chestnut finish is lovely. It does appear much lighter/whiter on the website, but colors often don't look quite right on screen. It's not inexpensive, but for what you get and the quality, it's quite reasonable. Just don't plan on ever moving it!

Love the look and quality. Makes working from home so much better. Definitely took several hours to assemble but instructions were very straightforward. Only issue was the delivering of the desk. Scheduled date on tracking came and passed twice. Finally got a call that it was 30 minutes out on the third scheduled date

The product was not packed very good. It came damaged on the edges. It took five hours to assemble and the drawers were aligned. We are unable to get them align. After getting it together, we found more chipped pieces. It's too much trouble to take the whole thing apart to send back. I would appreciate some money off on this thing not sure who to talk to.
