Purchased this for a printer stand and to place another devce underneath. The problem is there are no removable cut-outs in the back panel to allow for electrical cords for anything inside of the cabinet. The drawer is not deep, but deep enough to hold paper, ink cartridges and other items. The inside of the cabinet has one removable adjustable shelf. To place the shelf in the highest position is a bit tricky because of the door hinges. Manuever the shelf as high as you can and put the shelf rests in the holes from underneath, then lower the shelf onto them. Other levels you can put the rests in first and tilt the shelf in at an angle and put into place. I like the look of the cabinet and it is sturdy enough for my printer. With the black wash (not solid black) stain any imperfections or nicks can be easily blended in with a black marker or paint. Price was great. Took awhile to assemble though.
This is a BEAUTIFUL Cabinet that was bought to hold our Full Sized Large 2.2 Cubic Ft 35 lbs Microwave which it holds perfectly with No Problem. It was the ONLY one we could find, that was well made, sturdy enough, AND other people had less problems with defects in the wood (cracks, poor workmanship, etc.). It was easy for us to assemble. We had no problems with any defects in the product at all, which we did with another Microwave cart from a different Manufacturer which can be extremely frustrating. Yes, I would recommend buying this item. WE LOVE OURS!
Good quality. Easy to assemble. Not cheap flake board like some of them cabinets I've purchased in the past.
This cabinet was easy to put together and all the parts fitted well. I especially like the drawer for small items. I did change the hardware the match my home's decor, but the hardware supplied is very good.
I am satisfied with the overall look of the utility stand. The bottom of the top drawer is a thin piece of cardboard that you slide in, so you will have to be careful about what you want to store in the drawer. Also, the back of this stand is a thin cardboard material. Inside the cabinet there is one shelf and is nice for storing items. I would recommend, but keep in mind you pay for what you get.
I was looking for extra storage in my open concept kitchen/dining room. I ordered one of these to put in the dining area to allow extra storage for pantry overflow and little used kitchen items. It worked so well, I ordered a second one to replace a telephone stand to give me even more storage. My only negative is that the back is just cardboard. Everything else is nice quality (even if manufactured) wood, but the back is just cheesy in comparison. Assembly was also easy. I've done several "kit" type furniture and this one was one of the easiest to do.
Although the product appears nice and fulfilled the functions adequately, the laminate on the product is cheap and began to peel within months of assembling the product. I am not happy with the durability of the product
I have owned a Sauder product before, which was half the price I paid for this. However, the quality of the product is not much different at all. The assembly instructions were not very explicit. It took two people almost 3 hours to put it together. We had to reassemble it a couple of times. The stand looks good but it does not look durable. I would not buy another Sauder product again.
I would have loved to give 5 stars but it was not delivered to me by FedEx. In fact a fedex truck just now stopped at my house for a minute then sped off. The image is from driver who took the picture of an unidentified piece of cardboard on, what appears to be enclosed mudroom. This image does not only not match my house, but none around me, as I checked. So the item was fraudulently stolen, or delivered to some random address through ignorance of a driver as I have received from Walmart by FedEx before. It has been over a week since delivery email ,and my contacting Walmart three times, and promised swift action. I called just now and was told they would start a refund that would take ten days and someone would be in touch with me. I had already been told within 48 hours and then within 36 hours I would get the cabinet. So their word is not very good with me, so I am taking this with a grain of salt and will just stick with Amazon as this is the second time stung by Walmart. Not worth the time and aggravation when you wanted something in two days and fight for weeks to try and get a refund. As for the "Sauder Edge Water Utility Stand, Estate Black Finish" look for my review on Amazon. I am sure it will be what I need. As for the
The holes did not line up was impossible to put together went back over the instructions and over everything 5 times and it just was not right!
