Sauder Harbor View Lateral File, Salt Oak Finish

This looks way more expensive than it is. It is heavy and made really well. The only part that gives away the price is the cardboard attached to the back. The rest of the cabinet looks much more expensive. It takes about an hour to put together. Be careful and pay attention to the screws so you use the right ones in each spot, or you'll be taking it apart. I love this cabinet!

Functional, attractive, good quality and priced well. My son assembled it by himself in 3-4 hours. I needed extra filing space and after getting this piece, I decided to sell my current desk/hutch and get the Sauder matching desk. HOWEVER, I discovered the drawers are not full suspension and don't want any piece of furniture that does not have adequate rails that are full suspension and operate smoothly.

This is a very handsome substantial cabinet. The finish is very well done. Looks like antiqued wood. It is so sturdy, I couldn't even pick up the box. After assembled, it is hearty and sits squarely. It doesn't move or wiggle and it doesn't tip when the file drawer is full and pulled out. The drawer also slides steady on it's track. There are multiple shelf level choices to have up to four shelves that are each a couple of inches bigger than a ream of printer paper. The cabinet top is big. I have a task lamp, an organizer, and calendar placed there, with room for a cup of coffee. I am surprised to get this quality at this price. I like this so much, I am getting the matching night stands.

Looks better than I thought it would and is very sturdy. It took my friend 4 hours 15 minutes to assemble. He spent the first hour getting everything organized. It would have been faster if everything was labeled and the screws were separated. I am very happy with the amount of space it gives me. The file drawer opens all the way making it easy to reach the back files.

Easy to put together with 2 people.love th color shows a little woodgrain"antigue look" we have the matching desk and it really brightens up the office. Holds lots of files and having a lock is great. Going to buy the matching bookshelf nice furniture.

Pleased with the product overall. The design works very well, and it's solidly built. It was a little harder to assemble than I expected, and the color on line was a little more white in reality. In person, it was a little more "yellow" than "antique white".

This off white file cabinet is very nice, strong and classy. MY home has neutral colors, this antique white piece goes perfect with the look I am creating. It took about 4 hours to put together maybe because I did it alone and I didn't see the letters on the furniture until I started putting it together. They are on the small sides of each piece. When I found them it was much easier finishing the piece. The only problem I had was one side of the drawer wouldn't stay put together the trick was it had to snap into place when it did it was perfect. the only thing I don't like about this piece is the card board backing that you have to nail in place. Overall it looks really nice and is very functional.

The desk came within 4 days and was pretty easy to put together. We were very upset as there was a scar/tear on the finish of one of the pieces that happened to be right in the front of the desk. There is no way of hiding it!! We had to cut a piece of the finish and use a brown marker to hide the bare board. Not what we wanted to do to a $170 cabinet

This is my second piece for my office I've purchased and am very happy with the quality. This last purchase had a couple of damaged pieces but I went in line and requested replacement parts and had them in 3 days.

1) The top corner came broken. My husband and I decided if it looked bad when it was put together, we would return it. It isn't super noticeable but it's annoying because it was probably done in the factory, not due to shipping (there was a large crack along one of the pre-drilled holes). 2) Somewhere along the way, I missed the memo that this came in a thousand different pieces. Not literally a thousand, but way more than your average online furniture piece. The directions weren't very clear and it took us about 2 hours to put together (mine you, there was a mechanical engineer and a nurse putting this together). For the price, it would have given it a better rating and review if the corner wasn't broken and the directions were more clear. I don't mind a challenge every once in a while but this was not the time nor the place. If it wasn't so difficult to put together, we would've returned it and got a new one. Oh well.
