Although these are a considerable amount of work to assemble, the instructions are very clear and concise. the finished product is beautiful, We couldn't be happier.
I had previously purchased pieces of this set for a spare bedroom and loved the look. So when my son in college transferred to a new school closer to home and moved back in we went back to this set for his room. The set is strong, sturdy, and has the look of more expensive factory assembled furniture. Assembly is easy with a minimum number of tools and the instructions are easy to follow. Yes, ladies, some of us guys do read the instructions! :-) Out of seven pieces of furniture purchased I had a screw missing so I contacted Sauder. The customer service person I spoke with could not have been nicer and was in the USA! I got my missing screw a long with a touch up pen for the asking. With 4 boys we have purchased a number of you assemble furniture pieces over the years from a number of manufactures and I have to say I find Sauder the best built and designed of the bunch. On top of that the furniture is made in the US by Americans! I would not hesitate to purchase Sauder again and I recommend this company.
very nice, classy looking.
Bought two too match desk. Looks and works Great
Nice bookcase and easy to put together. Love the coloring of this collection.
I purchased two of these to go along with the 59" credenza, and boy, putting everything together takes forever! It would be a little easier if the nails and screws were all separated, but if you have the patience to put the pieces together they come out very nice-looking.
I like the color/finish coordination with the desk and file cabinet. Needs to be at least 4" deeper for legal size paper like most other bookcases. Doors don't completely close due to this.
Sauder use to be really good. I still have the bookshelves back from 2011. Now the quality and make is horrible. When I took it out of the box, there were a lot of scratches and damaged parts. The customer service for Sauder was no help at all. I returned to store.
We used to like Sauder furniture and have some older bookshelves from them, but quality has gone way downhill. One arrived busted up with damage chips etc. on at least 1/4 of the pieces. My sister ordered the same one and I helped her build it but it was so unstable she also returned hers. We don't think the wall strap would be enough to prevent from falling so defiantly not worth it even if it was free. Returned ours when customer service would not ship replacements for messed up/ chipped pieces. Was considering ordering a new one but experience with the same item I would not order one again.
Item is damaged. The one door is cracked I cannot get anyone to answer my chat queries. The item was assembled by the technician as per the option that I paid for. I cannot return it in its original packaging as it is assembled, cracked door and all, Who can help me with this.
