Sauder Shoal Creek Engineered Wood Storage Chest in Oiled Oak

This storage box is perfectly suited to what I need, which is a place to store yoga mats, blocks and other exercise equipment. It also looks nice as a piece of furniture in my living area. It was relatively easy to assemble although I managed to break one of the support legs by standing the unit on its side during assembly, which you're not supposed to do. Sauder promptly sent me a replacement part, at no additional cost, so overall I am satisfied!

I purchased this chest for my shoes to keep my dog from eating them. This means that I needed a nice looking chest as it would be in my front room. I was very pleased with the style and functionality. It was very easy to put together and is beautiful. No one can tell its a stash box for our shoes and I no longer have to search the backyard for my half eaten footwear. I would highly recommend this item. Good value

I love this chest. It's the perfect size, and holds quite a bit. I chose the oak color, and it goes well with my existing bedroom furniture. It was a dream to assemble ... all the holes were in the right place, and all of the hardware came with the unit. Lovely piece!

To be truthful we bought this to help our dog get on and off our bed. It's not too big and we can even stash some things in it too. It looks cute at the bottom of our bed with a scarf (table runner) on top with some non-slip rubber underneath.

I am a widow (76 of age) very healthy....I looked at the boxes (3) and wondered if I would be able to do this. I have accomplished it. It was easy as long as you follow the directions step by step. No problems...

This chest is small but looks great in a child's room. It fits perfect under the window and goes great with the other Sauder Shoal Creek collection items. It only took about 30 minutes to have it put together and in place.

I am very, very pleased with this product which I have in my bathroom. It looks great and serves the purpose! The only drawback is that is was a bit difficult to assemble. Otherwise, I have absolutely no reservations regarding the purchase of this item.

I bought this to use at the foot of my bed, to hold shoes and slippers. It works great for that purpose and has quite a bit of space inside. The specs say that it holds 125 lbs. I weigh 155 and sit on it to put my shoes on with no problem at all. I won't try standing in the middle of the lid, but it's pretty sturdy. An experienced handy-man took about 1 1/2 hrs to put it together, breaks included. It might be too tall to be a toy box for a small child, but it would be great for blankets or other items. The lid stays up and you must manually close it. Convenient. Clean looking. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far I am very pleased.

Overall I am pleased with this chest as it is very attractive and has the features we were looking for however the storage compartment is smaller than I anticipated, since it has a decorative piece underneath which eats up storage space.

This storage bench fit my needs for storing sheets, pillows, and comforters - although limited. Sadly, the measurements are a bit deceiving - the inside is not as deep as you would originally believe it to be. It's only 12 inches deep. :(
