So simple to digitize any tape. Decent quality and the price was right. I like just plugging in a flash drive and the rest was too easy. I had purchased a different converter (from a different seller) which failed in a week of use.
Taking into account the cost, this recorder works great! I've copied over 75 albums, 50 cds and, 50 cassettes and, considering the quality of the albums, cds, and cassettes, the sound quality was really good. For those who are concerned about the lack of a power cord, I used the splitter cord so I could use a laptop as a power source. I used a laptop that no one used so I didn't have to have the recorder dangling off my lap top. The only issue-- I wore it out as it will no longer record. Worth every penny.
I know some folks have found this converter to be just fine, and in some ways it is. It might just be me, but I can't seem to create the breaks between songs, but the worst is that playing back on my computer, the sound is AWFUL. If I plug the thumb drive into my car or a sound system, it's fine. The instructions require mind-reading to understand -- almost comical in the poor English translation from presumably Chinese. I plan to purchase a similar machine but one with good reviews, as there are many out there with similar prices and apparently better performance.
Had to purchase a separate power supply went through batteries like they were free
This is nothing but a platic pice of crap. Online it states it has a built in lithium battery. Why does it run off two AA batteries that needed replacing before it could record a 30 minute cassette tape without the sound beginning to drag noticeably. Save yourself some grief. This will not make a copy of a cassette into a D quality CD or MP3 recording. Waste of time.....do not but this device. It is worthless.
The item really sucks. It doesn't work. I tried it hooked up to my computer and to a USB. It really really didn't work. I'm sorry that I purchased it. I could have taken my kids out to eat for the money I spent on this garbage.
