Scaffold Crossbrace, 84inLx2inWx48inH M-MC4884

I bought this a couple of months ago and it added the additional bracing to my scaffold I had purchased from Northern tool a few years back. It made it more rigid and safe to use.

I absolutely love these cross braces. They work just like you'd expect cross braces to work. They also work pretty well as parallel braces. But not at all as L braces or T braces. But really, as cross braces you couldn't ask for better. Well maybe they could come in fire engine red. Or fuchsia. Either of those two colors would work better with my wardrobe. So if you want cross braces that work exactly like you'd expect metal cross braces to work, you know, so that they keep you scaffolding from collapsing and you getting hurt, then you need to buy these braces. But if want them in fire engine red or fuchsia you'll have to buy some other cross braces. Or I guess I could paint these. I think I'll go with the fire engine red. Update: painted them fire engine red. I absolutely LOVE THESE FIRE ENGINE RED CROSS BRACES!

These were exactly what I needed and available when I needed them. Worked with my existing scaffold frames.

I purchased two sets of the scaffolding and then ordered another set of cross braces to tie everything together. It works well and I should have done it years earlier.

I bought two of these and they are good quality and a great price. One note of caution, they are covered in machine oil from the manufacturing process. You will only realize it when you pick them up as it is clear. Be careful not to get it on your clothing and bring a rag with you to wipe them off before putting them in your car or truck.

I bot these cross braces as extra, since equal number of braces as frames is not always enough, for example 3 frames wide x 2 frames high require 8 cross braces instead of six.

Only complaint is if you buy a set, they do not come with the D-ring that holds an upper set to the lower set, and they are very expensive for what they are. We use diaper pins that we found for half the price
