My poor teapot Yorkie needed a haircut so badly, but since we couldn't take him to a groomer because of the pandemic, we resorted to DIY. Worried that an electric clipper would scare him, we decided to try the Scaredy Cat scissors with plastic guides. The scissors were sharp and did the trick! My dog wasn't scared and stayed relatively still for me the whole time. I need to even out some spots where it looks choppy, but he is a lot cooler and cleaner now so we are very happy with the purchase.

I haven't used them a lot, but when I did use them they were great. It cut great and helped even out my little schnoodle's hair in between trims.

i should have taken a before and after photo of my dog but i didn't think about it at the time. i was so nervous grooming my dogs fur for the 1st time. these made it easy and what's best is there's not the buzzing noise of the clippers (but, i still used those afterwards). The cut isn't the best as far as shaping but these really did the trick getting my dogs hair shorter so the trimming with the clippers wouldn't take as long. all in all, both my 18 %26 19 yo.s said the dog "looked pretty good and not at all like a scrangy-mut with a bad haircut" that they expected .🤣

I like that these are silent and easy to control based on right or left hand use. My cat has long hair and hates anything that I use to groom her that makes a noise. I have only used these once so far. But I personally love these.

I'm just learning how to groom dogs and they do a good job. Hard to use on legs and different areas of the body. I needed to use other tools but I'm. Just learning

I have already recommended them to a few people after trying them out. I f I had a criticism it would be for a higher quality of scissors with larger finger holes. They work very well for the pets with extreme fear of electric clippers, but they do struggle to cut thick bits of hair.

Its good on some fur shorter. I use to trim down area where cat fur has a mart to remove. Works ok. Not so great on Maltese mix dog fur for me. I still think its useful. Read instructions and test on different pets it might work on one and not the other. It is a lot safer and quiet.

Arrived on time and as described. Thank you. Product takes far more practice and finesse to be an average person's product. Only a groomer could use these with any efficacy; the blade is very sharp, but the angle of the guard prevents any useful cutting of hair. It will take a week to trim my critter to any real degree. Unfortunately, my pet is only slightly less afraid of these than clippers, so I'm not sure what I'll do with them.

the razor did not work. can't cut any hair . just money but everyone i see i tell them not to buy this product.The company shoud be ashamed of themselves.

I have a Scaredy cut that I bought in 2017 that works perfectly well. However I bought a «new» one for a friend whilst staying in the US and disappointedly received one that was obviously used before. There were fur cuttings in the manual and pouch and the scissors just bent the fur instead of cutting it. I was offered a replacement by Scaredy cut but as I was due to leave the country decided to return the product.
