Customer Insights: Rated 4.5/5 from 114 reviews.
I researched this product a little bit and found that they make a lot of the OEM products. I have a 60 horsepower 4-stroke Mercury outboard motor and it fit the motor"s hose bib and my boat"s stationary gas tank hose bib. I did not need the connectors. I had more than enough hose. Very easy installation.
Higher quality ball pump than when i was trying to cheap out on some amazon purchases. I really like the quick connect for the gas tank. it's been in use for the last few months. No real evidence of deterioration on the rubber ball pump from the sun whereas the cheap ones that i had ordered failed pretty quickly. Fuel line was sufficiently long for my application (outboard motor connected to the portable marine gas tank) of course can be trimmed shorter if needed.
Quality product, works as advertised
Works as expected but I did not have to use it "yet." Very sturdy. Recommended.
This worked great for my sons boat.
Short end with pump attached is at the wrong end for my application. Had to cut the clamps off and change it around. As a universal kit I think it would have been better with pump, fittings, clamps, and a length of hose, but not assembled.
this did not fit my suzuki 15hp outboard causing gasoline leaks at the primer bulb seals and at the sceptor leaked fuel out of my fuel tank into boat leaving me stranded in middle of lake
The line leaks it's not air tight
This is one of those situations where you think you are doing preventative care on your boat and you end up screwing yourself with a poor purchase. My 5 year old fuel line was in much better shape than this. Not sure if I got a defective fuel line or what, but my experience is that this is complete junk. Ran okay first couple times our, although the bulb never filled with fuel or got hard like it should. Within a month, my outboard was starving for fuel when I was about 3 miles offshore and would randomly cut back when I was running full throttle. I thought maybe I got bad gas. I started siphoning gas out of the tank using the hose and primer bulb and it barely trickled out. Then I thought, the pickup must be clogged too with the bad gas. So I used a different siphon method. While I waited I looked at the fuel line and the inside was clogged from delaminating plastic. Cut the hose to remove the "debris" and discovered the entire line was peeling on the inside, clogging the flow of gas to my outboard. ONE MONTH since purchase. Yep, it's going back to Walmart. (See picture of how bad it actually was). I
bought 2 of them and they both leaked
