Sceptre 32" Class 1080P FHD LED TV X325BV-FSR

I needed an inexpensive 1080p monitor. Understanding that this is an inexpensive TV, it is exceeding my expectations running as a computer monitor. It does not have the contrast that a high-end Samsung would, but it is also a third of the price. Gaming is still absolutely stunning, even with the actual 60 Hz refresh rate. At this price, you can't go wrong with this TV.

Delivery took a while - using it as a computer monitor - had to adjust the screen settings using the remote. All-in-all, it makes a pretty good monitor.

This is the second small Sceptre LED TV I have purchased. I have one in the master bedroom and one in my garage. Excellent picture quality and a great value. If I had to say it needs an improvement it would be in making the audio a little "beefier". I would certainly buy another as I already have purchased two. The one in the bedroom is a few years old with absolutely no problems.

Very happy with this TV. The price is better than good! I see reviews saying the audio isn't too hot. But, if you nose around in the settings you can make it sound just fine. This is the first Sceptre TV I've owned. It won't be the last.

Nice TV for the money. Set up quickly ... although the legs pointed in the opposite direction from the picture. And yes, I did turn them around and switch sides. They will only crew in one way and that way had the feet pointing in. Noe big deal. It is stable. The TV picture and functionality is good for its price point.

Purchased primarily for 1090P capability (less common in 32" class TVs). No problems with unit for the first few weeks, hope it keeps working well. Using on cable box, so cannot comment on OTA signal performance. Minor attaboy to Sceptre: decent screwdriver for installing base rails included in box so buyer does not need to find one. TV was in OEM box in a JET outer box with slight crunch on one corner. TV box inside was cushioned with crushed paper padding rather than foam or bubble wrap, but had no damage.

I bought this for my wife to use as a computer monitor was a lot cheaper and she loves being able to see things better . Try it you may like too.

The product (and remote) are very lightweight. The audio is.. bad, much worse than the Insignia I paid the same price for back in 2008. I'd say buy this if you're on a budget but ready to buy some kind of (non-Sceptre, I'd suggest) aux sound.

1st things 1st: the pictured TV is not what I received; if you add a "D" to the end of the model number and Google it, you'll see what you are actually getting: in it's appearance, the bezel is shiny black, not brushed charcoal. Sceptre logo is in the middle. Nobody really cares about that, but functionally, other differences may mean more to some buyers. The controls are not on the bottom in the middle; they are on the right side toward the bottom. This is a bit of an issue for me: the way I have it mounted, the controls are impossible to use. Not a big issue, since I have multiple remotes. But I would prefer they were where they are in the pictures. Also relating to how I have it mounted: the holes are not horizontally centered, as they are in the picture. They are below the midpoint, and this causes the top of the set to tip out a little bit (FWIW, I once bought and promptly returned a Sharp TV that had them about a half inch to one side...jeebus). What I would prefer is that they are centered horizontally and vertically AND 200x200 instead of 200x100; the more spacing between the mounting holes, the more stability! As for the more important stuff: the picture is very bright and sharp; I found that turning "sharpness" way down improves the picture quite a bit and it is still very sharp. As has been noted dozens of times in these reviews, the speakers are absolute garbage. If you are buying a TV intending to use the built in speakers, don't buy this one. If anything, people are understating how awful they are, probably because accuracy would require profanity. I have an old stereo receiver and a decent pair of bookshelf speakers and I am happy with that arrangement; a soundbar is another way to go. The remote is long and narrow (oddly not pictured on Walmart's website, but not hard to find a pic on web) and has a bunch of buttons almost no one is going to use (some are for a Sceptre-only soundbar but some of them are unassigned and the remote isn't programmable), which contributes to the buttons being very small and having almost microscopic labels above them. But once I'm satisfied I have the picture the way I want it, that remote is getting stuffed in a drawer someplace. Speaking of which, the on-screen menus are decent and fairly intuitive. Like I said in the title: it irks me a little bit that it isn't what was pictured, so it loses one star for that, and another because the mounting screw holes are lower than they should be. I wouldn't dock for the bad sound quality because expectations are low in that department for all flat-screens.
