It really is for shaving when you have at least two days of growth. The blades are super sharp and do a great job at going through tough growth. They may actually be to sharp for shaving everyday. The handle is substantial and has a good feel in the hand. This is no disposable razor.
Love this razor! Surpassed my expectations. Hey quarantine and work from home has been rough on a lot of us. I've never liked to shave every day due to sensitive skin, but don't really want to be a beard dude either, so shaving 1-2 times a week is great for me. To have a razor designed for this very purpose is a real plus. Embrace your inner laziness!
I really wanted to like it. Id say after a few days of using it that it's decent. It is as advertised great at going through stubble, the first day I used it it went through my very thick multi-day stubble way better than any other razor I've had. My only problem is it doesn't cut as close a shave as id like and tends to cut my skin multiple times every use no matter how I try to use it.
No better, no worse than the many, many, many folks taking shots at Harry's [which isn't all that good]. With all these guys, the intro blades are better than the refills, the 4 or 5 blade razors are not great between nose and lip, and they're just not all that sharp.
I was super excited to give this new razor a try, but it ultimately disappoints. The blade is a gimmick that makes it virtually impossible to shave with any precision.
Gives A Very Close Shave. But I Was Not Getting The Comfortable Shave I Was hoping For. I Still Felt More Drag And Pull Than I Expected At Times. Still Needs Some Improvement. The Shick quattro Gives A More Comfortable Shave.
I bought this because it claimed to be better than the hydro 5 with stubble. I was skeptical due to the wide channels which are somehow supposed to guide hair into the blades. No idea how that would work given their design, but thought I would try it anyway. Well they do nothing. And the 3 blades are either too aggressively angled, or just inferior to 5 because they pulled and caught constantly. I tried this razor on 3 and 5 days worth of stubble and it left me irritated and bleeding in several spots. Something that never happens with the hydro 5. The hydro 5 is superior in every way. Don't waste your time on this obvious marketing gimmick. Get the 5.
Razor was immediately clogged. Could barely shave with it. Very disappointed.
Irritated my face way better than shaved it. Very dissatisfied!
I've never bled so much from a blade. I'm returning the refill pack i purchased
