Found this product while shopping on line for the best deal. Wal-Mart had the right size value pack and at the price I was happy with. Very satisfied.

I've been using Silk Effects blades for about 14 years now, and these are just as good as they've always been. These are the only blades that I don't cut myself with (I'm incredibly near-sighted, so I have to shave entirely by touch which can be dicey). I don't intend on ever switching.

When I first got my shipment, I realized the packaging of razor blades was different in appearance than in the picture on the website. That concerned me because I figured I had been shorted somehow. The packaging was odd, and each package only had three razor blades. (The picture on the website shows the traditional 5). But then I started counting and realized that the total count was higher than what I had actually ordered. So, even though I still believe the packaging was odd, I received more than what I paid for, so I can't complain about that. Thus, the five star rating.

I have used the Silk Effects razor for over 10 years and have not been able to fine the blad cartridges in any store. I had to switch to another razor which I did not like as much. I was very pleased when I found the product online at Walmart. I find the razor easy to use because it has a wider, short handle for better control. I always get a smooth, nick-free shave. I will order again.

I've been using the Schick Silk Effects razor for years. I was attracted by their claim that the wires covering the blades and the flexibility of movement would cut down on shaving nicks. That isn't always the case, but I haven't found a razor I like as well. Those with the shaving cream built-in are horrible. Unfortunately, Schick must be phasing out this product because Walmart is the only store where I can find them. I've noticed disposable razor prices have skyrocketed so maybe I shouldn't complain about the cost for five blades, but it seems a little steep when you change the blade every 30 days or so. I've tried to use them longer, but the dull blade makes for more nicks. I will stay with this razor until I can no longer find blades because it works well for me.

I suppose I should find another razor after all these years, except I really like the how the razor is easy to use because of the shape.. however when I buy these refills some of the blades in the container are not very sharp! Some I can only use once or twice… maybe this will be my last refills I buy and onto a new brand …

These are not the original brand. Each case has 5 slots and only 3 slots are filled with razor blade refills, leaving 2 empty slots. The packaging is completely different than what I have received in the past. I returned and obtained a refund easily, so I do appreciate that.
