This is an extremely lightweight machine and does a great job. It has to be assembled. The fuel doesn't have to be mixed at all before filling. I'm familiar with USA made Mantis, so if my grandchildren ever need to get parts, they can. I'm also familiar with Honda and I am a fan from the mid 1970's. The motor is smooth running and easily started. I used an old Mantis in my 30's and tilled and maintained a one acre garden and dug a storm caller, too (shovel required-layer at a time). I am 65 now and this tiller is fun to use if you enjoy gardening of any kind. It easily will go down to ten inches. One blade got fencing wire wrapped around it and I thought, “Oh, no!” because it just stopped spinning. I turned everything off and laid it on its side to see and sure enough, the thick and stiff wire was wrapped in such a way that it caught the back shield. I barely grabbed the wire and it just slipped off like it was no big deal. I got a little tiny wrench and used it on the shield and it popped right back like new. It started right back up, no problem. This is a good tool.

Powerful yet small machine! Does the job with ease! Chose the model that operates on gas, so NO mixing needed for the fuel.

Easy to put together. Lightweight and small which is what I wanted %26 impressed when I tried it out. Works well. Also not very loud %26 cranked easily.

I am a 76year old great great grandma who stil likes to garden n work in my flower beds. My last mantis tiller of 40 years finally gave out n I bought this one It is great, lite enough I can pickup with ease, starts everytime, n great at tilling n cultivating!! Just hope it lasts half as long as the last one. Thanks Mantis

Just right for a single woman to create and manage a small garden. It was a gift for my granddaughter and she loves it.
