Schlage BE489WB CEN 625 Encode Deadbolt Smart Lock | WiFi Touchscreen Keypad, Bright Chrome

It was also easy to add to my Schlage app. So I now can monitor both my house and garage from my phone. I installed an Encode plus on my house over a year ago. Loved how it makes the house more secure when gone. Love how easy it is to change the batteries. Great product. I already recommend ed it to my mom and sister. They have installed them at their house also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our Kwikset deadbolts with Schlage Encode when we purchased new doors. Installation was easy as we followed the directions. Only glitch we experienced was we had purchased both the Schlage wifi handles and the wifi deadbolts. Both do not fit on one door. We decided to keep the wifi deadbolts and use a regular keyed handle. These fit together perfectly. Connecting to wifi, was a breeze. Adding both the front and back deadbolts quickly. Adding our codes was super easy. We purchased all in the matter black and the finish is perfect, very clean & elegant looking. I'm impressed with how quiet these are compared to our older Kwikset deadbolts. Our dogs used to freak out every time the bolt locked out opened. These are so quiet, or dogs don't respond. And they're yorkies, so this is wonderful. They dream to be built very well. I'm expecting them to last a long time. Really glad we upgraded to Schlage Encode.

Love not having to try to dig through my purse to find my keys when my hands are full and the ease of it's features especially getting alerts of who's coming and going.

The lock feels very solid, operates smoothly, and connects reliably to Wi-Fi. The app is easy to use, and features like remote access and notifications work perfectly. The satin finish also looks great on my front door. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a secure, high-quality smart lock. Schlage did an outstanding job with this model.

This product is good. Would be better if it worked with Apple Home. Install instructions were mediocre. There was no instructions on how to remove the optional plate from the deadbolt. I had to go searching all over you tube to find. As an aside, purchasing through Walmart has been frustrating. I get Spam almost everyday now even though I have unsubscribed several times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given this 5 stars but the marketing is confusing between encode and encode plus as the naming does not clearly indicate one is Apple and other is not. This resulted in me installing the door fully before realizing my mistake. Works great just won't integrate with my Apple home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed this product for being able to assign codes with certain day/time usage, and that it updates me with who uses the code when. I also love the updates when the door is locked and unlocked, as I have a toddler at home. However, the batteries seemingly get drained and that is a downside to this lock.

If I did not have a Schlage lock in the door this electronic was to be installed, it would not fit. None of the hardware fit. Once I got it installed the keypad is very problematic. Sometimes it works but most of the time is does not. Takes multiple attempts at pushing buttons to get it to respond for locking and unlocking. Not happy with what seems to be a poor quality keyboard.

The lock works and can be controlled from phone, but only worked to set up with one phone out of our house of 5. It is very sturdy and does not seem to be breaking any time soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock came with our Lennar house. It has been trash since the day we moved in. Batteries last a few weeks and the lock stops responding frequently. At least weekly the lock requires a complete reset. Sometimes it just stops working for weeks at a time. It's going in the trash as soon as I research a replacement.
