It feels solid and well made, looks great on the door, and responds quickly when locking or unlocking. Connectivity has been reliable and I really like the convenience of being able to control and check the lock without needing a key. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this lock for a month now and I'm very pleased with it. The install was easy with the fantastic step by step videos. It connected easily and has worked reliably. The responsiveness ti the app is good with a little bit of a delay but not much. I am handicapped and this lock has made things easier for me because I no longer have to go to the door to lock and unlock it when friends, family, or help is coming over. I can give codes to people I trust too. I like the look and the brushed bronze matches my entryway light and staircase railing. It also has a battery percentage in the app so I can monitor that as well. The only thing I would have likes to be different is a bit of light or metal on the inside of the lock because my foyer is dark and I cannot see if the lock is in open or closed position from looking. I need to use the app or go to the door. Not a big deal but noticeable.

I feel so secure with it in place, and cannot emphasize enough how easy it was to connect the lock to my phone. The interface is easy to use, and the lock itself is very high-quality and I’m certain it’ll last years to come. Also, the looks of the lock are great with the rest of my front entrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one Schlage Encode first just to see if it was worth the price, and after a little over three months I ended up buying two more for other doors in my house. I live in Arizona, so doors do not always fit exactly the same year-round. Between the dry weather and occasional humidity, they can get a little tight. This lock has handled that well. It is smooth, easy to use, and I like that it lets us know if the door is not fully closed instead of acting like it locked. We were also able to give a family member a code while we were away so they could pick up a bookcase, and we got notified when they came and left. That gave us a lot of confidence in it.

Installation was very simple, so even I, a female in the 50's was able to manage less than an hour. (I had to widen the hole on the door, and that took me a bit of time.) If you had a fitting hole, it shouldn't take that long. Connecting to Wi-Fi was a bit of struggle. My home network was 5G, but I couldn't figure out how to switch to 2.4. But, once I get connected to the 2.4, it was a piece of cake. I definitely recommend this lock. I'm considering to get another to my back door.

I enjoy the ease of use and the integration with the Ring app. This lock has many features and recieves ota updates regularly. Price could be better but you're getting a quality product that will last many years!
