Schlage Camelot Keypad Deadbolt

It was easily installed by a locksmith and saved me money to change the lock. It is easy to use and work great. Installed for my older parent who can feel save the door is locked yet in case of emergency any of us can get in to assist her if needed any time.

Well-constructed, nice appearance, easy to install, and works as intended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my honest opinion of this deadbolt. I'm not going to deduct any stars, because the two things I had an issue with were mostly my fault. First "issue" is that I thought this was an electric lock that engaged the deadbolt all by itself. It is not. Had I read more fully the description, the thumb turn on the front, only works when you enter in the correct code. The second problem I had was with the installation. I tried reading the instructions, and failed. But there is a QR code you can scan. And it literally shows you every step with short little videos. OMG. If it wasn't for that I would have never been able to do it because I couldn't visualize it without the videos. Once it was installed and I understood how it works, I genuinely feel like this is a solid piece of security. I also like that you can still use a physical key to open the lock just in case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. The finish of the product is good and it looks great. The knob is a little bit loose but maybe that's just a function of getting used to this new lock as compared to our previous one.

We love being keyless and the lock is very durable and lasts forever. In the last year, we only had to change the battery once. I'd recommend this lock to anyone looking. You will not regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased Schlage for its name in safety and durability, all our homes doors have a Schlage door knob or lock. The only disappointment I have with the new entry door handle is that the interior door knob is not interchangeable with the existing glass knob I had in the original door handle.
