Recently, our old setup started draining its batteries every 2 days and stopped working. This new setup was easy to install and we like the matte black finish. The app made it easy to remove and replace the lock information. We also put one on our entry door from the garage. Great for families with kids who come and go. They just have to enter a code and never worry about keys. Very happy with it.

Compared to our previous lock from another brand, Schlage is quiet, locks smoothly, and much more durable in terms of parts and the keypad itself! So great to have piece of mind knowing our tenants won't get locked out and can enter with one attempt instead of fighting with the keypad.

I replaced the lock with a Schlage Encode due to positive experience with Schlage locks at my primary residence. The lock was easy to install and so far I've assigned two codes to allow access while I've been away. It has been simple and seamless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lost key mishap, we decided to upgrade to a solution that does not require a key. You still have the option of a key, but with the convenience of a key pad of your carrying something or you can even unlock from your phone if it's raining etc. Forget to lock the door as your headed out in the morning a few coffees short of awack, no problem! Lock your door remotely, unlock to let someone in if needed. No battery issues after 3 months and when the battery does get low and we don't notice the warning light or app notification, we have a key. The app will notify you every time the the door is locked or unlocked, even if manually. You can set it to auto lock after a period of time or one button lock as you leave. Very convenient and added safety.

The WiFi technology is great, I use my iPhone and iwatch to open the door. The app is helpful, It lets me know who opens the door and one time it advised me of a forced entry detected. Very happy!.

The app has really good software and is easy to use and monitor with other products. The motor that closes the deadbolt is also very strong which is extremely helpful if you have a tight drawer jam and want to keep your weather seal tighter. The only issue that's been reported is there's a little bit of play inside the latch to manually close the deadbolt on the inside. Apparently this is there by Design however I tweaked mine slightly to remove some of that play with heat shrink.

The lock and handle set are attractive, was easy to install and set-up. The lock is pretty pricey, but we do plan to purchase similar locks for our other exterior doors.
