A life changer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lock. It improved the quality of my life! Installation was very simple, so even I, a female in the 50's was able to manage less than an hour. (I had to widen the hole on the door, and that took me a bit of time.) If you had a fitting hole, it shouldn't take that long. Connecting to Wi-Fi was a bit of struggle. My home network was 5G, but I couldn't figure out how to switch to 2.4. But, once I get connected to the 2.4, it was a piece of cake. I definitely recommend this lock. I'm considering to get another to my back door.

MUST HAVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one a month ago and just bought another for the back door! So easy to install and the app is very user friendly. I love not needing keys and can assign different users their own user code and know when they enter/exit. All can be done remotely. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schlage Encode is my first smart lock purchase and I'm very satisfied. The setup was super easy, and the app is user-friendly. Battery life is excellent and also able to easily view the status which is reassuring. Schlage has an excellent product that performs as promised and provides peace of mind.

Easy installation.
Very easy to install. Could not sync to my phone . Called customer service but they were closed for weekend. I'm sure it can be corrected. I have several friends who have this lock and love it.

Good, but battery life could be longer lasting
Good buy, but too bad that batteries need replacement every 6 months or so.

Disappointing fulfillment
Product arrived in a pre-used state with the packaging significantly damaged, missing parts, and the product displaying clear wear and tear. The return process was not representative of Walmart’s “customer first” mantra - I waited more than two weeks for a refund.
