This is a great product and very realistic. It has small parts so this would be dangerous not to follow recommended age range. This toy is more educational and that's what I liked about it. You put together your chicken coop. This product was as described and I would recommend it.

I recieved this beautiful Schleich Farm World, Chicken Coop Toy in exchange of an honest review. All my kids and I love anything that has to do with animals. Especially farm animals. My daughter loves roasters, hen and adore baby chicks. What more perfect gift than this. A very cute Chicken Coop Toy. My daughter adores all animals but little chicks are gwe favorite. This chicken coop is very well made. It's made of great lasting material. It comes with a chicken coop, hen , rooster, a baby chick with few eggs and a very cute nest. Everything in this box is very well made. Very detailed painting.The animals look very realistic. This is a very cute toy to play with but then theirs adults like me who love collecting cute small animals like this ones. Another thing i love about this Schleich Farm World, Chicken Coop Toy not only do they sell chickens & roosters but they have many different animals to choose from . Not only do they sell different animals in fact they sale the whole farm . I am looking forward to get that for my daughters birthday. The price is decent since you get a great toy. I do recommend this for everyone. This is a great toy for boys and girl's. Even I love it. Very well made with great details on it. Makes a great gift for any occasion. Highly recommend.

We have chickens in our backyard and now inside the house (without the mess). These sets are so cute. This one has minimal assembly required so more immediate play value than some sets that are rated for older children. Once you complete the quick assembly, there are cute chicks, eggs, a nest and a hen and rooster to play with. This can be played with on it's own, or added together with the bigger farm sets for further more involved setup. Bright colors and easy to access packaging - keep this a winner in my book. My kids need choices to lure them away from electronics - and this type of toy is perfect for that. Quality toy that will last and provide hours of play to grow the imagination.

this chicken coop set is so cute! you actually get a lot of things in the box. you get a chicken coop, and you can add the fenced in part or not, the roof comes off to play inside the coop. you get a hen, a rooster, two chicks, and a nest with eggs. the eggs are not attached to the nest. the chicks in this set are too cute, it is just like having a real chicken coop! I do have to say that there are tiny parts to this set, like the eggs and chicks, so unless your kid is fine with small things, probably not a good set for younger kids. the age range is 3 to 8, but really my daughter loves this and she is 10. it is just such a cute set, and very detailed, looking to get another farm set for her for her birthday!

The Schleich farm world, Chicken coop toy, is a neutral gender toy. Both boy and girl could play with the chicken coop with detachable enclosure, a cockerel, a hen, and chicks, which are well-painted figurines, and nest with three eggs. The chicken coop toy is excellent learning for kids. The curiosity my kids is about how they get food and how they live every day, how the cockerel hops on the top of the roof and crows every dawn. My kid loves to play with the chick and make the sound of cheeping. Her favorite is opening the roof by folding to reveal the eggs on the nest and counting them. The coop is similar to the big red barn she usually sees in the books, and right there, she knew it is a place for animals to rest. I like this kind of toy for my children because it promotes creativity, learning, and focus. They want how they could create their own story, how the chicken family will get food, and how to make fun. The chicken coop toy is a great gifting idea for kids ages three to eight and up. I like playing with my kids and playing the role of Dad cockerel.

We love this chicken coop set! My grandchild loves chickens so this set is perfect for him. I even found myself playing with it! These toys are beautifully made, excellent quality. I'm so glad we own them. These toys can be passed down for ages! Don't hesitate to buy.

This set is so cute. All of the pieces, down to the eggs, are so detailed and well made. The coop is easy to assemble and made of quality pieces. There are other sets available for purchase that will basically help you build a whole farm. We have not purchased the additional sets...yet. For now, we use them with our Lincoln log set.

This chicken coop set comes with two baby chicks, a rooster, hen, nest with eggs and chicken coop with fence. The attention to detail on the realistic looking animals is amazing. The colors are so real looking. No fake cheap looking plastic toys here. The toys are all made from plastic, but feel durable and well made. The chicks are very small so these are not good for very little children. The coop is very easy to assemble, with just a few pieces that need to be attached. Such a fun toy for my kids to play with it. Its been a great addition to their farm collection and they will play for hours with all their farm animals. They love sitting the hen in the egg box and placing an egg under her. They find great joy in lifting the nesting box lid to reveal the egg that was laid. I highly recommend this and all the other pieces in the farm set. They are so realistic looking, well made and a great toy for little ones to play with.

After a shipping error – finally received my Schleich Chicken Coop Toy featuring our fine feathered egg laying hens. Schleich makes the most realistic looking (although scaled in size) toy replicas of many creatures from farm, to fairy, to prehistoric creatures, as well as pets and more. This Chicken Coop toy didn't disappoint. It contains: 1 x chicken coop with fence, 1 x rooster , 1 x hen , 1 x chick , 1 x farmer. The Chicken Coop part folds open to see and play with the interior of the chicken coop and even has a spot for the chick to have a nest, and a hatched chick. Each figureine is hand-painted with the utmost attention to life-like detail. Great for your budding young farmer to play with – or to pacify your wife who really wants a she-shed with chickens – but doesn't want to deal with the fact that chickens are ultimately food for us!

I had my four year old and his friend attempt to assemble it out of the box. Surprisingly they got the whole thing almost put together. This is definitely a toy for 1-6 year old little hands because I had a hard time getting my fingers in the coop. The little trio of eggs are sweet and the hens are good size. We have other Farm World toys so the addition of the coop to the farm is so fun for the kids. However, if it was just the coop solo it may be a little underwhelming of a toy. The bigger part of the roof comes off while the smaller pen section is a hinge roof. It is a sweet addition to my sons collection.
