Schmidt Brothers® Cutlery Evolution, 7" Nakiri Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Evolution, 7" Nakiri Knife it was in a beautiful ornate box. It is so easy to use and it cuts thru everything. I cut up frozen steak and then peppers and it cut all of it up beautifully. It cleans up very easily. love it!

It is constructed by one seamless piece of steel, which is safe, easy to care for and adds longevity to the knife. I was surprised by the ease of use. The “waffled” blade really grips the vegetables without interfering with the smoothness of the slice. The wide blade lends itself to scooping up those tiny dices. Very high quality German steel!

This knife will definitely be my go to knife For now on for all of my meal preps.This elegant knife is quit lightweight and easier to handle. It's made 100% German stainless steel and designed with grooved blade that reduces friction and pressure When I am using it. It cuts thin precision cuts Of my fruits and vegetables. It is non stick as well, and it comes with a unique style black case,which keeps my knife looking beautiful the day it arrived. This knife is the far best knife that I have ever owned. I recommend this EVOLUTION NAKIRI KNIFE.

Feels very substantial to hold and the fact the knife is all one piece I know it will survive the rigors of kitchen life. Off course it is very sharp and makes short work of all vegetables and the like. Great quality, great knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the Evolution, 7" Nakiri Knife thinking it would be like all the others. How wrong I was. This nice has some weight to it and is by no means flimsy. I really like that it has a bit of weight to it. The groves are there for a purpose, embrace them and enjoy cutting vegetables with ease. I do not put this knife in the drawer. It is set aside for it's very own place and I use it frequently when cooking. The Nakiri knife is amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a friend with one, who tells me that they are the best thing for chopping alot of vegetables quickly and efficiently. It is almost soup weather and I decided that with the amount of soups I make with vegetables in them, to get one and try it. This knife is amazing. It makes chopping uniform pieces very easy. I can also chop the vegetables in about half of the time because of the blade size and ease of which is glides thru carrots, potatoes, onions, whatever I am chopping. I highly recommend this to anyone who chops veggies on a regular basis

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look alone of this nice is simply gorgeous! I've used this knife to cut veggies, meat, everything and I absolutely love it. The ridge/waves help prevent most things from sticking to the blade, almost everything except for dicing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really sharp knife and it works well for making thin slices. That being said it feels a little off balance. Maybe it's just that I'm not used to the flat blade but it definitely feels off to me. Also the sleeve that it came with to protect the blade is very difficult to use, to the point that likely we will stop using it because it doesn't feel safe. It's such a nice knife I really wish I liked it better.
