Schmidt's Natural Deodorant Jar Cedarwood Juniper Jar 2 oz

I started using the cream/paste deodorant two weeks ago; I was reluctant. I choose this option due to enviromnental concerns and theh waste created by the popular spray deodorant I have used for years. The application is slower than a spray, but not too much so, it is slightly messy as there is always residual deodorant on my fingers, I feel compelled to wash my hands after epplication. The Cedar+Juniper is a very pleasant scent, and not dominant, I bought this as a more masculine scent, but I think it is truly gender neutral. The scent does fade quickly and is completely indistinct after about 2 hours. The deodorant effect is much stronger and seems to last close to 24 hours without additional applications. I wore this product to a 10k road race and the festival after-party without changing my shirt or applying more deodorant and my personal stink was totally absent.

This stuff is great! It's the first natural deodorant I've tried, and I'm shocked at how dry and stink free my pits are. The scent is perfectly light and not too heavy. I personally like the morning ritual of rubbing the product in and the control that gives me over how much I apply. I was worried about having deodorant residue on my hands after applying, but it washes off very easily. I work for 9 hours in the 95 degree heat and I will only barely stink (like sweat not b.o.) at the end!

I ordered this product after years of trying a number of natural deodorants that simply did not work. I have very sensitive skin, am very active at my job, and work out almost every day. This deodorant works all day, has not irritated my skin AT ALL (which is a miracle-- almost all skin products have caused me some sort of irritation), AND has no plastic! It also is a great price for how long this jar lasts, and is very comparable with other natural deodorants. All the things I've been looking for! I wish I would have tried this sooner!

I noticed quite a few reviews that said this product was harsh where applied. I have not had an issue with this, as I often apply jojoba oil as a base layer. ...Just a suggestion before giving up on it. This is a phenomenal product and works much much better than the stick/roll-on version. It's effective for at least a full day and I swear by it.

I bought this about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Tested it out because of slight irritating experiences with commercial type deodorants and figured why not give a natural deodorant a try. I was recommended to Schmidt's via a person I follow on Instagram got the jar and LOVED it. I don't mind sweating but obviously the odor is the issue. I couldn't believe how well this worked for a bit over 24 hours as well in some instances. I even had an intense workout session that had me pouring sweat and I still had no odor arise. I may stick with this scent of Cedarwood + Juniper but I wouldn't be opposed to testing other scents. I would highly recommend the jar vs the stick, my sister tried the stick and didn't have great experiences this could've been due to over application or sensitive skin, but the jar helps to prevent over application. I don't even write reviews on products but this has been so good when I got the email asking me to do so I didn't hesitate. This product is amazing, I will be sticking with it as long as it still is being sold, and have recommended this to close family and friends. Thank you Schmidt's.

This cedarwood and juniper scent is wonderful. Not too sweet, not overly pungent. A very pleasant woodsy fragrance.

Came separated but 30 seconds in the microwave and was a uniform mix after stirring. Love this stuff.

This is mty second Schmidt's deodorant I have tried. The fragrance of the Cedarwood/Juniper is intoxicating. I don think I could ever grow tired of it. Of the two Schmidt's deodorants, I have tried, my only complaint is the texture and firmness (speaking to ease of application) of the deodorant.

I love Schmidts deodorant in a jar! I especially like the lavender and sage. I do not like the "roll on" variety which does not "roll' easily. The cream in a jar works much better and lasts much longer.

I love Schmidt's jar deodorant!! I've been using it for about 2 years now. I've tried them all, and they all smell amazing. I do not have to reapply during the day due to smell or sweat. By far the best natural deodorant I've tried. It's true that you have to do a swatch test, because some people will get an allergic reaction with Schmidt's. I find Cedarwood in particular makes my skin a little sensitive, but I love the smell so much that I alternate it with other scents. If you're nervous about sensitive skin, definitely try the fragrance free!!!
