My daughter is in the 2nd grade, and needed a dictionary. There were so many choices I chose this one and it worked out great. Her teacher even told her that it's was the best dictionary in the class. It's kind of heavy for her but it's usually stays in the class to read it's very easy and my daughter has no trouble getting through it.

This is a great dictionary for elementary school age kids. It gives very understanding definations and on more complicated words, it gives an example sentence. I am very impressed with this dictionary for my second grader. It is more than just a dictionary, it has grammer guide, punctuation guide, flags and factgs of countries around the world, the 50 U.S. States and Canada, map of the continents, the U.S., Canada and Mexico. All the Presidents of the U.S. I highly recomded this product.

MY TWO SIX YEAR OLD GRAND CHILDREN REALY LIKE IT AND USE IT. i WAS REALY SURPRISED THAT THEY USED IT RIGHT AWAY.

My child was in need of an extra on words and comprehension. This helped him understand some of the words.

I returned this dictionary. I thought the type was small and a little difficult to read. I went with the Webster's New World Children's Dictionary instead.

It was ripped ,dawing on it, and messed up.
