School Zone Big Spelling 1-3 Workbook

Just what I was looking for, and easy and fun spelling practice book. both my 1st grader and 2nd grader are working on it at the same time and enjoy the activities

My son enjoyed working from this book. The lessons were clear and easy to understand, and helped us reinforce the spelling that he was learning in school.

What I like about this book, not only will it help your child succeed in spelling, but it teaches children long/short vowels (a, e, i, o, u) plus consonants (letters that aren't vowels). It also contains beginning and ending sounds. What I did not find in this workbook was an answer key, however do not fret parent, the problems in this workbook are not difficult to solve. This workbook also contains an app it is called anywhere teacher. Which is a tool designed by school zone (the workbook publisher) plus real teachers, it aligns with the national curriculum. It is free or you can pay for a subscription. I have it downloaded and my children love it. Extremely engaging.

It teaches long and short vowels. You learn words based on each individual letter. It have word searches etc. that keep learning fun

A little pricey but exactly what we were looking for to get down to the basics

Great book if your wanting to do academic lessons at home!!

This book is extremely helpful for those who need a refresher on how to spell

good workbook that is structured well for daily use.

Good variety of content and activities. I think the recommended age range is a little off. I bought for my 5 year old who seems to be working through the activities rather easily. It is overall a decent workbook and good value for the price.

Although it looks like it's made to be fun for kids, some of it is confusing and not much order. I think also that the age suggestion should be 4-6 instead of 6-9. It's still worth checking out.
