Schumacher is a name brand when it comes to battery chargers. That is why when I received 1 that did not work after I had received it I was shocked. I contacted Walmart as it was an order and within a few days the battery charger was replaced and it works great as you would expect when you purchase from 2 reliable companies like Schumacher and Walmart.
More information on the charging cycle would be more helpful
I bought this for a just in case scenario. I should've tried it before waiting til I NEEDED it. Complete let down. The other two chargers I have are the same brand, smaller size and made from cheap plastic. But they work great so I bought this as the “ultra” version to leave in my camper. Doesn't charge anything
piece of junk. I have had this charger for a couple of years, using it on and off occasionally. I would say it got between 10 and 15 uses. Now it just trips off after is “senses” a battery. Can't even use it as a maintenance charger it just clicks off.
This charger does not fully charge any batteries I've tried charging. Full size vehicle and garden tractor batteries for whatever reason do not get a full charge.
I've now bought 2 of the Sc1341. Both work for about 2 years then stopped working completely suddenly. Thought it coincidental but know think it just poor quality.
Have charged 3 batteries and not one of them went to 100%. Junk if you ask me . One was brand new.
Used 4 times and only appeared to work correctly once.
My son bought it for a gift. I wanted a charger with the optional start feature. It has never worked. Couldn't even get it to start my John Deer lawn mower. So I used it as target practice.
Do not buy this so called charger you will be sorry if you do it is gutless and does not charge batteries it shuts off when you need it to lump start and you cannot get it to restart charging the display is useless flashing lights. Not worth the money its better to go find something else.
