I bought this converter to run an automotive wiper motor for one of my Halloween props. It worked great all night long and had plenty of power. I am so happy with the product and the price I paid for it, I bought a second one to run another wiper motor prop for next year.
I am using this in an unusual way.What I am using required 10 amps and this piece is handling it.So proper use should be no problem.

Very quick shipment. It came exactly as described and worked perfectly. It is a hard to find item. It is the perfect device if you have one of those mini fridge's that plug into your car cig lighter. Works great, makes no noise. Has a really long cord that was helpful.
I own other Schumacher products and have never had one problem with them at all. I own 2 Schumacher battery tenders and they have worked perfectly for well over 3 years operating every day keeping my boat batteries fully charged. This converter is no different and a steal at $20! For the money this is the best 12V converter on the market.
It's an AC to DC converter, not DC to AC.

Worked as described. Shipping took a long time, but it arrived a couple of days sooner than predicted. A little light weight for my purposes, but it put out 12v at 5a consistently.
Product was shipped with tracking number and was received four days before estimated delivery. Tested the converter for four hours by powering a 12VDC travel cooler. The cooler functioned as designed with the converter as the power scource. The converter does heat up with use, which appears to be expected and normal.
So far so good. I chose this one due to the price being fair compared to others with less amperage. It gets really warm like most electrical devices so keep it ventilated or clear from objects that may smother it. Powers the portable (12-V plug) 40 quart Igloo refrigerator just fine.
