[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is going to come in handy during camping season. We can go off grid if we wanted and still have our phones charged and COFFEE! I cant wait to really put this inverter to the test! It also works great if you have a little land with trees... you can plug in your pole saw to go cut limbs down
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband uses this when out on our property in combo with a car battery to run his power tools while away from electrical outlets. It's definitely something we like having on hand and is quite nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster to test and review. This is an excellent piece of equipment. It's solid, well-made, and powerful. It connects to a standard car battery to power pretty much anything with a standard electrical plug. It could be permanently mounted in your vehicle if you're into that kind of thing. It's useful for transforming camping into glamping lol. You can bring any household items you want and be able to plug them in and run them. A mini fridge, fan, etc. In addition to recreation, this could be very useful for emergencies as well, if household power goes out. This inverter is great and I hope it lasts for many years to come.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with everything I can run with this thing! I tried both my laptop and space heater and had no issues with either for an extended period of time. I'd mainly use it for camping and the occasional emergency. It works flawlessly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has 3 AC outlets, 15-watt max NEMA approved. 2 (5 volt) USB ports. This unit is protected by 2 high speed fans, thermal overload and LED power switch. Surge protection keeps your tools safe, and a low battery alarm keeps your battery from being unable to be recharged. This really is a great way to be ready for the unexpeted.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to recieve this product complimentary from #influencer! Its like a mini generator! Perfect for when the lights go out! The only downside is having to buy an expensive battery to connect it to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being on a road trip for 3 months with 5 adults, a lot of time we complained about not having enough outlet! This comes in super handy! All outlets were used at once for about 15 mins and thanks to the fans, there's no over heat sight was discovered! Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally got to try this converter out while out at a mud park. Took our rzr 1000 out there and did primitive camping. This was great for recharging our phones and tools that we brought along, along with our extension cords for lighting (temporarily) it worked out amazingly! I'm so happy to have this for camping! I also think it'll come in handy during hurricane season if our electricity goes out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good power converter for someone who wants to be able to use corded power tools where household power is unavailable. It is nice that this converter comes with power cables, and that the terminal ends fit properly on batteries with auxiliary posts that have wing nuts, typical of marine type batteries. No load amperage (just turning the converter on, nothing plugged in) it was drawing 0.35 amps which is more than I expected. The unit is a bit large physically, making it more difficult to find a location to permanently mount it within the range of the power cords, but its size is pretty typical of comparable 3000W converters. With the engine on (14.26 volts) This converter ran everything I tested against it except for a 10 amp, 3/4 hp bench top drill press. Most likely due to the start capacitors on the drill press motor drawing excessive amperage for longer than 0.1 seconds (rated surge output power at 6000 watts) I tested separately each of the following with the engine off, and the battery at 12.65VDC. 2.4 Amp 30” pedestal shop fan (on high) 6.7 Amp vacuum cleaner (under load) 7 Amp 4&1/2” angle grinder (cut 2x4's) 15 Amp 7&1/4” circular saw (cut 2x4's) 15 Amp 12” miter saw (failed; tripped overload) 10 Amp, 3/4 hp drill press (failed; tripped overload) Started the engine, and tested separately each of the following, with the battery at 14.26VDC 2.4 Amp 30” pedestal shop fan (on high) 6.7 Amp vacuum cleaner (under load) 7 Amp 4&1/2” angle grinder (cut 2x4's) 15 Amp 7&1/4” circular saw (cut 2x4's) 15 Amp 12” miter saw (cut 2x4's) 10 Amp, 3/4 hp drill press (failed; tripped overload) With the engine on, and battery at 12.25VDC I tried starting the 15 Amp 7&1/4” circular saw and the 15 Amp 12” miter saw simultaneously and it failed, tripped overload, but if one of those tools was running (no load) the other would start, but it seemed to pull some power from the one that was running until the second one got up to speed, then they both ran fine at speed with no load. With the engine on, and battery at 12.25VDC I started in order, 2.4 Amp 30” pedestal shop fan (on high) 6.7 Amp vacuum cleaner (no load) 15 Amp 7&1/4” circular saw (no load) But when I started the 15 Amp 12” miter saw, it was too much of a surge, and failed, tripped overload. It did however run all 4 items when I turned them on starting with the largest load going to the smallest. Overall I would say this is a good power converter and if you have the time and gas to run your engine long enough you could probably build a house with this one. I do not recommend running it at 12 volts, the tools seemed weak, it really needs to be ran around 14 volts for the bigger tools like the circular saw to work properly.
This is an ok converter but anything over 780 watts doesnt work as intended. This includes fans, which will shake and hum due to the square sine waves. a lg 42 inch tv will not turn on and blinks power light on and off. a small lg mini ac will not stay on either. you can pretty much use it for nite lights and charging your cell phone
