Schumacher Electric DSR Pro 1800A Heavy-Duty Car Battery Jump Starter and Portable Power Station, For 12V Automotive and Marine Batteries, DSR119

Bought it after our neighbor jump started our car with one like it. So I went out and bought one for ourselves. Got it the next day charged it per instructions and then went out 2 days later battery on car completely dead again. Used the jump starter we got and started the car right up. v-6 motor, with electronic everything in it.

A great charger and was able to tell me by its rating post charge that the battery would work for then but needed replacement. As I live in South Carolina, famous for great heat and humidity and sudden snow blizzards every few years with little warning-I went with the cost of a no service gel battery replacement. I lost 2 car batteries while in service in Connecticut and learned! I keep this charger for part of my emergency SUV kit from now on.

It is a bit disappointing that the unit does not come with a cord for recharging...a minor thing, but, something the manufacturer should consider

Automatic charge shut off, so you never have to worry about over charge and damaging internal battery. Compared to other jump starters I have own I find it more compact, which is great! I Stores in any position! I am so happy it, I have it ready to go in the garage ready for when ever it is needed.

Professional Driver, I use this to jump my truck at times, when it is really cold out...The Truck is 2014 Freightliner Evo..Semi Truck..these truck have 4 or five batteries, so the 1800 peak amps start them easily, the first time, Great Product !!!!!!!!

His car is older and has a lot of miles on it. When it sits for a minute it doesn't like to start up unless jumped. So this is going to make both of our lives much easier. I won't have to get up at three in the morning to help him jump his car anymore. He can do it all on his own. So I guess it's a household approved product.

This charger is easy to use. Holds a good charge to use as a portable charger. The clips sit nicely on each side, which is marked positive/negative, for storage. Will also come in handy for all our seasonal toys, 4 wheelers, etc.

Arrived fast and is easy to use. You can use multiple times on one complete charge. Does not come with Charging cord, so you will need an extension cord to charge it.
